Haven't had an attack in a while but I was triggered by claustrophobic situations (large crowds)
I'm the same way. If I over-indulge my anxiety is through the roof the next day, leading me to abstain from alcohol the night before any important event.I def get anxiety after big party weekends. Alcohol in excess is the cause.
Always make sure I'm clear headed before big sales meetings and/or presentations.
You do this too?I had a panic attack after I smoked a whole 1g blunt to myself about 4 years ago. Thought I was for sure gonna die... Heart started pounding and I was convincing myself I was having a heart attack.
Only happened once... But since then I only smoke half blunts by myself
I've had anxiety ever since I could remember. Always been a generally nervous person.
Started having panic attacks around 19, ended up turning into a major depressive episode. It scared the life out of me at the time. Having never experienced anything like it, I thought I was going crazy. Screwed me up for a good 6-12 months.
Nowadays my anxiety/depression is much more under control, but the anxiety comes out when I'm exposed to a new stressor. I've had a flare-up ever since I started my new career back in May.
My brand of anxiety is a rather unfortunate one. I tend to get diarrhea/IBS when I have bad anxiety. Definitely makes life more difficult. Pepto bismol has been holding me down as of late. My panic attacks tend to center around claustrophobia/not being able to escape/not being able to find a bathroom if the urge strikes. I've also been having moments of lightheadedness when I'm driving on a busy highway.
It waxes and wanes for me. The only thing that really seems to help is time and exercise/proper nutrition.
