Pelle Pelle WAS da longest running last URBAN brand that still wield DOMINANCE.. RIP

Never seen a soul in DC wear it. Dominance? Yea sure. Maybe in Washington Apple or whatever Ninja's Hood is but not down here. :smokin

I wanted to say this but i wasn't tryna start that whole thing in this thread.

But, real talk, you ain't seein nobody rocking a Pelle Pelle or Avirex in the DMV in 2013.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: There's alot of stuff that's big in alot of places that will get you clowned in the DMV. Including those Biggie Marmots, even though Marmots in general are poppin in the DMV.

Honestly though for urban wear, DMV is garbage. I wouldn't put too much stock in what they think.

You speak on something of which you know nothing, son. That's the only explanation for what you just said.:rollin

Stussy is still 100x more relevant though. You're talking about a brand that sells essentially one style of product to a handful of cities for 1 season a year. No one buys a single other garment from Pelle Pelle so I can't really call that dominance.
pelle is definitely a 1 trick pony, i'll give you that, but that 1 trick is $$$, and i to be honest, i can't remember da last time i seen a piece of stussy apparel in person, where as soon as it

gets cold in NYC, pelle pelle got da leather marketshare locked down and i see all kinds of styles of em on da streets on a regular basis, plus stussy like i said

isn't urban, its a streetwear brand.

Thought my post went through. Stussy is not urban wear. It has it's roots in skate/surf culture

Kid just got shot over the weekend in Bryant Park in NYC over a biggie Marmot.

You don't remember the whole Urban Wear wave that DC was on from the 90's to around 2006?

Who is actually wearing "urbanwear" in 2013, anyway? Especially in the DMV where everyone is rocking Stussy/Supreme/The Hundreds/insert streetwear line here.

You know nothing of which you speak, sir. Simply saying "From NYC, live in the DMV now. Garbage." means nothing. There's really no weight or meaning behind that statement.

:lol Pelle Pelle

No one outside of NYC wears that ****. Ninja probably got a closet full of Karl Kani as well.

promise, I was at Exedus in Wrigleyville, and I saw atleast 5 or 6 Pelles this past weekend

Also, its hilarious that in a city with almost 3 million people, dudes can generalize what everyone does or doesnt wear

On saturday there wasnt a single white person in the bar.  Exedus is a reggae club, and it was dope, but yeah I saw quite a few Pelles in there, dope ones too

pelle's are still all over

dude clearly has no idea what he talking about

I have never seen anyone wear one of those in real life, and I've been around. Must be a NYC/NorthEast thing

Why yall even arguing with this man? Pelle Pelle is the right answer and he won't take any other answer.

i've posed da question several times for someone to name any other brand in da urban sphere that still dominates for as long as pelle

same here bro. just like i dont see many people wearing timbs either. i used to rock pelle pelle clothing in high school. i didnt even know they still existed till this thread. urban name brand clothing dont last which is why dominance doesnt really happen.

I'll never understand why dudes from the south or other hot states bother coming in threads like this to say

"i've never seen anyone rock this or timbs"
