I spray mine with footaction boot protector so that never happens to my retros/ogs

Yeah it's from the way you walk. If you wear pants and cover that area, it's less likely to happen.
Just wipe it off with a small amount of Sea Glow or use a Magic Eraser to remove the mark.

I don't know how it happens, but the same exact thing happened to my grapes and fire red Vs. I thought it was because of my jeans rubbing against them. Go figure.
