who knows if he was jugging snkrs but with a bot it sure would be nice to know what online retailers got allocations of limited pairs, sizes, quantity etc :nerd:

they did their job. its is very hard and expensive to bot actual SNKRS app. But other sites like footlocker, champs ETC are the ones that get killed constantly. Which nike is not in control of
Right- that is what you would say, you run bots. So I appreciate your perspective from that side

but step back into reality, if NIKE who sends their shoes to FTL was not happy that FTL was getting their whole inventory botted, you don’t think they could do something about it? Of course they can. Interchange FTL with any retailer, of any size in this example.
Conversation can be this simple-
Nike- we don’t want your inventory going to bots- do something about it and show proof that the stock is going to individual customers
Retailer - will do- -> business continues
Retailer- no we won’t do anything - business does not continue

It does not have to be impossible for a retailer to prevent their stock to be eaten by bots. If they wanted to. Nike could stop sending them stock or reduce it to peanuts. Keep more for themselves which they already do, and send stock to the retailers who get it right. It requires them actually caring first which we haven’t seen evidence

So much misinformation in this thread and I think it's simply because newer generations of sneaker fans are just uneducated. I don't completely place blame on them as most og's have either quit the hobby, been ignored or just don't want anything to do with what the hobby has become.

This has been going on long before most of you even started collecting/buying sneakers and is nothing new. I'm sorry to break it to so many of you, but in this world people with money and connections will always have an advantage. If you don't like it either stop supporting the entities involved or do something about it.

Just to drop a little knowledge Nike absolutely does care that this stuff is happening and has done a lot over the past 15 years to try and prevent it. I'm not going to get into how I know, but those of you who have been on NT for a while already know my background.

Haven't see this name is YEARS, mind you I'm not on NT as much anymore. Salute digitaljordan digitaljordan :pimp:

Pretty much what I said on Twitter yesterday when this story was trending.

The Only bot that works on SNKRS will set you back 20k. At least that's what I heard.
Thats dragon and it only works on Nike App not SNKRs but that **** cooks!!! lmao

Admittedly don’t know **** about bots, but why can’t they just flag physical addresses and ban/block them for dup orders?
They do but people jig their address. Like I can put my home address and then add apt 1 and it will checkout lol

Explain how you know its hard to bot snkrs...

because it is impossible damn near to get anything off that app
because I bot footsites but not snkrs. SNKRs bot is expensive and the success rate isnt high at all.

Footsites do try to battle bots but these kids are too smart these days hoesntly. In the past two months footsites have been hard to bot at least to me. and there hasnt been a lot of stock to go around anyway so the expensive ones eat. like the past two footsite releases have legit been like permaqueues.

I can write my address probably like 20 different ways and the package will still get to me. That's how they get around it. Typing out "Road" instead of Rd, changing the second address line etc

Why don’t they just release a set amount of each shoe for footsites, retail & mom/pop stores and make an unlimited amount available for preorder directly from Nike. Leave the preorder up for 24 hours. I don’t mind waiting months if I know my shoe is legit and coming directly from Nike.

I know why: Because they don’t give a **** about the consumer and they benefit from the hype of bots, instant sell out and resellers. Nike stock is booming. The profits are insane.

All those “Nike has been trying to fight this for years” comments don’t ring for me. They don’t give a ****. They’re just showing minimal effort to make it seem like they’re doing something.
