Damn, really? People I've talked to in Phoenix and in Texas swear upon this place. Didn't get to try it, but if I end up going back I'll try it on the company's dime.
Speaking of Smashburger (which sucks)...it's 2014, give me something other than ketchup/mustard for my fries. We on our food snob steez, bruh....need an aioli, a sriracha based sauce, a special sauce, etc.
Damn. I'm on the opposite of the scope here. i want the basic condiments... ketchup, ranch and (sometimes) BBQ are just perfect.
Chipotle wouldn't be bad if it was like $3 cheaper. Just waaaayyy overpriced compared to smaller, better spots.

I know it's not in Cali, but if you're ever in the Phoenix area... hit up Lo-Lo's. Because of them, I'll never waffles at any Roscoe's ever again.
No lie, the orange chicken at Trader Joes, which btw is the same one sold at Smart & Final (same packaging, flavor, different name/logo on package) tastes exactly the same. Try it and tell me I'm lying.
Next time you go to TJ, look for the Tempura Chicken. I think it's a lot better than the OC because the chicken doesn' t get all soggy. The OC is good, don't get me wrong... but the Tempura Chicken stays crispy even when drenched with the sweet and sour sauce (or whatever sauce it comes with).
Overrated does not mean bad.
