Our very own Hong Kong Sneaker Guide.

SinnerP,

Do you know any stores in HK that sells 2012 Janoski releases or blue box Janoskis? Also, same question with Roshe runs. Do you know any store that sells 2012 roshes? TIA!
I don't know much about SB's, but shoes from 2 years ago will likely be hard to find.

Is the jordan store by wan chai? I am looking forward to the retro 2 this weekend. Raffles? First come first serve? Thanks.
JB Store is indeed in Wan Chai... a block from the Nike BB store.

Not sure how they're gonna sell them.
Still no info on the Lance Mountains?
Sorry for the late info... but it's lucky draw... register at JB store on Jun 5th-6th... draw on the 7th.

These dudes trying to make SinnerP their personal shopper (or maid) with all these requests. :lol

Bring back the wait period!!

Oh I see. I'm looking for Free Trainer 5.0 v3 (not the fingertrap design) and the Free Trainer 3.0 Mid shield

3.0 Mid Shield

Honestly you'd have to go check the stores to make sure, but these aren't anything hyped so unless it's an older pair, it should be there

Hey guys,

Gonna be in HK to visit fam in about 3 weeks.  Last time I came, I don't remember the sneaker game being too crazy here.  What's the resell market like now?  According to a friend, he said Fa Yuen St. was like Flight Club spread throughout the area.  Is the average mark-up really that high now?  If not, what's the typical price markup?  Also, what's the typical procedure/line-up and size run for releases at the Jordan Store in Wan Chai?  Gonna be copping on a budget, so I'd like to plan it out.  Thanks!

Sneaker game is still isn't too crazy, you'll occasionally seeing some Js, Kobes, NBs on the streets, the resell market is as high as ever, the mark up is starting to creep up towards flight club level, so if you're copping on a budget, stick to retail

Thanks man!  Hope line-ups aren't too bad or raffles aren't rigged.... kinda getting sick of these overpriced Canadian releases....

Bad news for you, pal... the line-ups are worse than ever (lots of hired liner-uppers by the resellers) and I think some raffles are shady.

Nike HK's doing something about it by making you register online via Nike.com.hk and needing a valid HKID for the raffle, but not all their limited releases are like that.

Reseller prices are ridiculous too...

Saw yesterday that Toro 4's were around HK$2999.  You do the math.

damn..... that's crazy..... And I thought House of Hoops Toronto was bad.... I might as well just stick with the generic stuff then...

3k for a pair of toros... damn.. that's about 400 USD.... clearly SGFU

Nike Basketball stuff is about the only thing that sits at Nike Retail stores. The lineup make the HOH look like angels

Jordan resell prices in HK makes resellers in Toronto look like Angels, Foamposites are creeping up to the ridiculously terrible range, Nike Basketball resell prices sometimes it's market, sometimes it's really high. Unless you have a lot of money to spend (which you said you don't) just look but don't buy
