the beef is people spreading misinformation. people have have the right to buy and where what they want. its when lies and misinformation get out there that starts to mess things up for the ENTIRE community. You rock fake shoe? fine. But dont go on youtube and forums and blogs and spread this narrative that these are coming right out of nike factories as nike shoes and that theyre the same shoes as you buy from foot locker because theyre not. Thats the beef. This is no longer something that can be debated because we KNOW that theyre fake, we know that theyre not coming from the same factories. So why spread that false information? because it makes them feel better? because they make money off of poeple who believe that narrative? Thats the beef.Ok so the beef is not the fake shoes but the people trying to pass them off as real.
So if someone bought some replica solar reds or grey yeezy 2 you would rather them come out and say yo these fake but I'm fly tho.
Resellers, bots, fiends that stay in line for weeks are killing the game or beating a dead horse. So I personally understand people frustration if they can't get sneakers because they too are enthusiast so they resort to getting replicas.
That's like saying a car enthusiast who changes the engine on a 86 camero is not a true car enthusiast because he didn't restore the car with the original engine or could afford the marked up 86 engine.
I saw a dude saying people who buy replicas are broke, as opposed to going on eBay paying triple sometimes quadruple the prices.
To me it means nothing like I said I get my kicks in base, they just come a month late cause I'm stationed in England. I just didn't agree with the jabs for something so minuscule
your car comparison is wrong because modifying something that is authentic still makes it authentic. customizing an authentic shoe still makes it an authentic shoe. picking up a rock and painting it gold does not make it gold, whether you can afford real gold or not. resellers have been around just as long as the sneakers have been popular. if you cant adapt to whats going on then pick a new hobby. you dont have to justify to anyone why you buy what you buy, just dont try and spread false information because when you do it on a sneaker forum you will get checked for it
