We had a girl on our team in high school. I think she was like 4th string safety or some other meaningless position where she would never step on the field even during garbage time. She was cute though...and now she's a stripper

Coaches have been known to scout a school's women's soccer team for a field goal kicker. If your kickers aren't getting the job done in regards to accuracy, then why not let a girl try? Obviously girls aren't going to be doing kick-offs, and the odds are pretty low that they'd be involved in any physical contact after the kick.
