Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

would love to see the pilot , i mean if whitney got the greenlight....lmao

"Following a flurry of sitcom cancellations, NBC has opted not to pick up the pilot for SNL writer/stand-up John Mulaney's new sitcom Mulaney. An ensemble multi-camera show staring Mulaney, Martin Short, Elliott Gould, SNL's Nasim Pedrad, and stand-ups Griffin Newman and Seaton Smith and executive produced by Lorne Michaels, Mulaney seems like a slam-dunk on paper. I attended the pilot taping, and it was super funny, so it comes as a huge disappointment that NBC opted not to pick up the show. The pilots they did pick up had better be good."

Gotta throw A Few Good Men in the convo

Forgot about this somehow. What the **** was Demi Moore doing it his movie? Besides that it's an excellent movie. Had some corny parts but whatever. I don't think it's on the same level as born on the 4th of July though. Especially of you want to see Tom cruise the true actor not the star

I see u watched born on the 4th already. Yeah I'd go with a few good men. If you are a Kubrick junkie see eyes wide shut. He's okay in it and even though it may be kubrick's worst movie... Well his worst is still watchable on multiple occasions.

USA has been the network I've seen the most often as a potential destination

Does the mission impossible trilogy have similar themes to the bourn trilogy?

Themes such as: a job that only one man can do, cheesy girl to aid hero, and some vilian.

Not to me. Bourne is about himself, MI is about the world bein saved in ridiculous ways. Both are good, but personally I like MI series much better.

Those would be tropes, not necessarily themes.

I haven't seen all the MI films recently other than Ghost Protocol, but I don't believe there's any connection between the movies and they're all basically standalone stories. So you won't get the bad guys like you do in Bourne or the ongoing themes of identity and self-discovery.

I actually liked Go On when I got around to watching it.

:lol @ Sutherland going back to 24. I knew all that Touch talk was nonsense. They should've just went through with making a movie, possibly a trilogy and then ending it there.

I'll watch Happy Endings if it goes to USA or even TBS but I find it weird/funny that once Cougars got picked up and started on TBS I had absolutely no time for it at all. The one time I checked back in the son was in a relationship with his mother's blond friend, didn't think they'd go through with that when they hinted at it before the cancellation.

Rebel Without A Cause was weird. Definitely would've had a major impact back in the day, but nowadays it's content is extremely tame

It's late....nothing's on, I'm too tired to grab the remote..... Grease 2 is on....why?

Why was this movie made?

Why in the **** is Michelle Pfeiffer in this? :lol

Shooter McGavin was in this?!!?!? :eek :rollin

They sang and danced in a bowling alley, and 10 minutes later are singing in class about reproduction.....am I dead???? :lol

Wife and I were in a head on collision this week, this movie is more painful than that was. Serious. :lol

Grease is my favorite musical of all time but I've never seen the sequel, I don't think anybody likes it
