(I'm listening to A Time to Kill Rewatchables)

Mathew M was dating Ashley Judd when he got the role, when they started the movie, and DURING FILMING, he fell for Sandra Bullock and then dumped Ashley?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I am 378 years old and have NEVER heard that before. Is that true? Can anyone confirm???? (I didn't know MM and Bullock ever dated, period. I am FLOORED right now)

Dude went from peak Ashley, to peak Sandra, are you ****in kidding me???? :lol Good freakin Lord that's a blessing.

Watched Power of the Dog a couple days ago.

It was cool, dragged a bit at times though. Acting was great all around but Benedict Cumberbatch's accent was terrible

Finally got around to watching The Last Duel. I’m open for discussion, but I’m not getting why this got praised.

To me, what was the point of the film? A straightforward true life story, with 3 different points of view. That’s cool. Done to death, but interesting. But what was the point of making all 3 views exactly the same, save for some differing dialogue? The events were exactly the same, just who said what was changed. Am I wrong? Did I miss something?

Usually the different view point shtick gives you new information each time. Or blows your mind when you see why someone reacted the way they did (because you get to see the other POV) like in the movie GO! Or Memento.

The 3rd act completely ruined the film for me. The wife’s account was the same as Adam Drivers, save for some slight differences in dialogue. So cool, she was raped on all accounts, now we get to see her side of what that was like right? Wrong. We get a 30 minute detailed BRUTAL fight scene to end the film. Now I have no idea what the main point of the film is, except rape is bad and Ridley Scott films cool fight scenes.

I enjoyed the film. But I’m not getting the high praise. Seemed like a gimmicky and unnecessary way to tell a pretty basic story.

Crazy how little Marlon Wayans bothered to cultivate his acting talent since then.
Do you think it was because he knew that outside of the roles with his family he wasn’t going to get solid roles so there was no point to improve?
