Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

Haven’t seen Django in mad long and I have a hard time watching those movies. One of the few Tarentino movies I like. Jamie and Chris were great together. Hate how he died.

No one I've talked to liked Now You See Me 2 so I'm also very surprised they'd do another one 9 years later. The 1st was a pleasant surprise but yea 2 was a rough watch.

This scene was disgusting and I don’t even ever have a problem with about gore, big Saw fan

My parents took me to see this movie and I would have been 7 or 8. I honestly don’t know why they took me, I hate scary things. This intro scene scared the crap out of me to the point I spent the rest of the movie either with my head down or eyes closed. To this day I don’t do scary movies but I have seen this scene atleast a dozen times cause I really like the blood rave music and I think it is a really dope intro scene

The local art house is having a Tarantino retrospective.

Trying to decide which ones I need to see in theater.

Reservoir Dogs for sure, because I missed it when it first came out.

Possibly Pulp, even I did see it when it came out.

Maybe Kill Bil Vol 1, because it’s his most interesting visual film imo.

And maybe Hateful Eight, because it was shot on 65 mm.

Or maybe just Reservoir, because I’m not a QT super fan.

Old Boy (original) came to mind immediately. That movie f’d me all up.

Fantastic 4 Reboot. NTers were posting instant reactions to that dumpster fire. I went on a Saturday morning and I knew it was going to be bad but not that terrible. I was so shook that I left as soon as the credits appeared and some dude was like “you should wait since they have scenes for the next movie”, I stared at dude and kept walking

****, man. That's terrible. I hope Aubrey, and all of Jeff's family and friends, can find support with each other or with therapy. Awful, awful event :(

I don’t watch a lot of films in the drama/horror/suspense genres, so I don’t have a lot of candidates for this.

I know I felt kind of numb and drained after seeing Eyes Wide Shut in the theater. But I think that had a lot to do with the long run time and the very loud, discordant soundtrack

Still can’t believe the tragedy of Keanu reeves. The matrix was released in march of 1999. The role of a lifetime. The pinnacle of success. Changed cinema.

His girlfriend had a stillborn child in December. That death took a toll on their relationship and they split up a couple weeks later. A year goes by, and they start to reunite. They had brunch together on April 1st 2001. Later that night, she lost control of her car and died after crashing down a ravine.

Wild to me that the average person didn’t really know any of this info, since he mostly kept his private life secret and this was pre-smartphone/social media/internet as we know of it today. People were clowning on him for not being in more blockbuster films. Humans are trash, but Keanu has always been a stand up guy. Losing a child and a love (ex) of your life in such a short span, would drive anyone to depression.
