Nosferatu was a solid re-telling of the story. They strayed a little bit but eventually arrived at the same end point.

Note to self: in 2025 I will no longer get upset at the inclusion of the Exorcist in every horror movie. Solidifies it further as the undisputed GOAT

Totally agree, but I will note that I know some people who found some humor with the fapping scene in The Lighthouse.
