I’ve never seen that in my life, I don’t know what that is

“The pumps, if we opened the doors…”

“The pumps buy you time!…But MINUTES ONLY. From this moment, no matter what we do: Titanic…will founder”

“But this ship can’t sink!”

“SHE’S MADE OF IRON SIR! I assure you, she can…and she will. It is a mathematical certainty.

“How much time?”

*does calculations in head*

Am I forgetting any? My childhood was from late 80’s -99 (hardball makes the cut but barely)

The Witches. All of it.

Also, if it makes you feel better, the horse that played Artax was adopted by the trainer (or, someone involved in the film) and "retired" it from film work.

They had no idea what kind of movie they were trying to make. Killed the universe before it even started.
Can’t even believe I should spoiler this but I should—Cruise rides off as a sacrifice with the blonde and Russell Crowe saying he could be their weapon against the Monsterverse, and then literally no other movies happen  it was super ******* boring

The Jake Johnson part might’ve been the biggest insult to film I’ve seen in some time

Just cancelled hulu and disney+. Wanna cancel netflix and max too but my dad would complain and annoy me. To me the best features of streaming services were no commercials and show episodes would all drop the same day. That's all gone now while they keep increasing prices. Plus netflix and amazon keep cancelling good shows if they're not big mainstream hits. Doesn't help it's usually 2-3 years between seasons.

I was using my folks Max and didn’t realize it’s been cancelled for like 3/4 months until I tried to use it yesterday

Decided not to renew Disney+ last year and my Max sub at the end of this month. I was using my cousin's Netflix account before they started cracking down on password sharing.

I'll just watch the shows/movies on those streamers elsewhere...

jpzx jpzx forgive me if I’m mistaken, but I think you posted a Harvey Dent “full length” interview from The Dark Knight?

I strongly believe Aaron Eckhart was a crucial, and perhaps overlooked component of what made that movie so great.

I know his performance is probably praised, but he still deserves more credit for the great job he did in that film.

“The world is cruel. And the only morality in a cruel world…is chance. Unbiased. Unprejudiced. Fair.”

Yet another thing Nolan is good at is fitting a major Batman character (Two-Face) into a single movie. You’re right, was so good in this.

Just watched Ghostbusters Frozen Kingdom.

I liked it a lot. Thought it pulled off the right balance of new stuff and nostalgia the same way Afterlife did.

Not sure why people weren’t feeling it.

also felt like they used animatronics, for the alien, wasn't moving like a full cgi creature,
the limitations made it more effective and scarier.

And this guy apparently played the offspring.

My only complaints were using CGI/AI Ian Holm and that line from Aliens at the end.
