Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

So hyped for Dune but austin butler looks like such a dork in the trailer. Hope Bautista powerbombs him on his neck.

Sweatergawd, I love watching things with this kid. 🔥❤️
We're plowing through Breaking Bad. Started around November/December. Saw the episode last night where Walt confronts Hank and Walt knows that Hank is onto Heisenberg. Hank throws Walt against the garage door and says "I don't even know who you are."
You all remember Walt's response?
"If that's true, if you don't know who I am… then… maybe your best course would be to tread lightly,"
😬😬😬😬😬
Chilling.

So my kiddo goes "Wwwoooowww. That's like in The Dark Knight when that one guy working for Wayne Enterprise was going to blackmail Batman because he found out Wayne = Batman."
Remember what Lucious said?
"You think that your client, one of the wealthiest and most powerful men in the world, is secretly a vigilante who spends his nights beating criminals to a pulp with his bare hands, and your plan is to... blackmail this person?
Good luck."

I had never thought of that, but holy *censored*, EXACTLY!

"Tread lightly" = "Good luck."
🔥😬

I feel like I don't watch enough movies so I decided to change that this past weekend.

Watched Oppenheimer and liked it a lot more than I expected to. Out of the newer movies I've seen (past 3-4 years) it's probably my favorite.

Started One Hour Photo but my fiancee got bored. I was enjoying it though so I'll probably have to finish that one on my own.

I always think of The Prestige when the Illusionist us brought up. Need to rewatch Illusionist as it's been too long.

However there seemed to be a period where movies with a similar theme came out around same time. I.E. Friends with Benefits and No Strings Attached

That’s exactly why I’ve never seen the illusionist.

I saw The Prestige and just assumed it was just riding the wave.

I don’t know how many bad movie enthusiasts we have here but since I brought it up in my Madame Web review…

Remember it’s never too late too watch Moonfall. Ever since my brain melted from witnessing this holy grail of abominations, I feel more people need to see this movie.

So let me sell you on Moonfall, a genuine 10/10 bat**** insane pile of dog****.
Moonfall is a big budget ($138m) Roland Emmerich disaster movie.
Now imagine that, but with a plot about the moon falling out of orbit down to earth, cooked up by Alex Jones during a meth, shrooms, DMT and bathsalts binge.

An almost 3 hour wild ride that never slows down and will continue to surprise.
I’ve seen this movie numerous times already and it’s just as hilarious on subsequent watches.
I think this is the true pinnacle of greatness an awful movie can reach. Nothing makes sense, science goes straight out the window from frame 1, the characters are basically NPCs who constantly take the absolute worst decision at every point, ...
The ending was the true icing on the cake that cemented this as the holy grail of bad movies for me.

How on earth this movie was approved, much less with a budget of $138m, is beyond me but we should all be grateful that it did.

Well now I have to see it. 😂🔥

sony gotta be trolling with making movies like morbius and madame web. Aaron Taylor-Johnson is cool but kraven will probably also be a disaster.

Just started this show Peaky Blinders. Where does it rank? Top 10? Top 50? Unranked?

Right now I have:

1. Sopranos
2. Breaking Bad
3. The Wire
4. Chernobyl
5. Thrones*
