Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

I’ve never seen them, I know I got a gap as far back as the 1960s though. Next will be the second Bond movie.

She is peak basic hot, like she has all the born qualities and maybe doesn’t do squats but my genghis khan she is beautiful.
love Natalie but if I were to choose which I want long term, it's Alex.

That's also real life. He's usually charming and funny in those roles which could take him far. Plus it's not like he's quasimoto.
how dare you? QUASI had a lot of appeal.

Apparently Brie has had the chest game going all along, but kept them somewhat hidden. Kept them extra strapped down for her performance as Envy Adams according to something I read. Crazy.

I go Natalie but I see your decision
I would have chosen Natalie since I really had a big crush on her. but she didn't mature enough for my liking like she still has this girly aura about her. anyway, there isn't really a wrong choice for either imo.

Mos been mostly quiet on the music front too. He does a guest verse here or there but haven’t had an album in awhile outside of Blackstar 2.
I wish the Ecstatic would hit streaming again at some point. Lost the CD a while ago.

Natalie might have a good Diane Lane track she just needs the EXP

A lot of the bond movies don’t hold up unfortunately. Even for its time a lot of em were misses cause of the rotating directors.

That said, it’s a series I hold dear to my heart and there’s great flicks throughout especially if you know what you know what you’re in for.

Legit thought she’d be the face of the MCU alongside Holland post-endgame. Feels like they scaled that back.

I’m bummed cause Captain Marvel the movie was not good but I think she has the chops to do much better than what she was given.

Which I don’t
Fast Furious rn basically the template. Modern Mission Inpossible too with how it takes from the Bond franchise.

Expect goofy fun but the few like Dr. No, On her majesty’s secret service, Living Daylights, Golden eye, and Casino Royale take things more serious and are the ones to look out for.

Then you got the next tier with Goldfinger, Spy who loved me, No Time To Die that mix the silliness. After that it’s a bit of a crapshoot but I stand by there’s something worthwhile seeing in any of em.

I am in on it, just Dr. No I’ve seen right now before the Brosnan movies. So From Russia With Love is up

If you don’t want to watch all of em here are from the top of my head the standouts:

Connery: Dr. No, From Russia, Goldfinger, and Thunderball. Bill Russell-esque run lmao

Lazenby: On Her Majesty's Secret Service (Must-See for the ending.)

Moore: The Spy Who Loved Me (only good movie from his era imo)

Dalton: The Living Daylights, License to Kill I like but not a must.

Bronson: Goldeneye (GOAT bond movie imo)

Craig: Casino Royale (Huge Must See), Skyfall, and NTTD.

Each bond is different from the last. Connery is the template and overall the goat for a lot of people. Lazenby only had one film not a great actor but the ending of his film is so good, Moore is the goofiest and goes borderline parody at times, Dalton is the precursor of Craig playing a Bond that is cynical, than Bronson who had goat potential has the best charisma and looks but only has one good film, than Craig whose the modern tough guy bond.

Hahaha my mom’s hated him and moore cause of hosw goofy they were. I grew up on Bronson but my parents loved Timothy Dalton and Connery.

I like how much this series spans multiple generations!

Craig never appealed to me. too bland and serious for my taste. also, I don't find him appealing as BOND.
HENRY CAVILL for me would have been a perfect successor, no offense to IDRIS ALBA.

Timothy Dalton is heavily underrated imo. but I always remember him for this role....

I like Craig but I feel like he didn’t put it all together till No Time To Die where he finally embrace some of the silliness of the series while being the muscle head he is haha

His movies get better on rewatches. I love his take being a bond that hates his life lmao

That truck chase in License to Kill is *chef’s kiss*
have to rewatch it again. also, LTK has an awesome soundtrack.

as goofy as Moore is, I liked A View to a Kill. awesome soundtrack, Christopher Walken and Tanya Roberts is more than enough to offset the goofiness of the film.
