Man I finally caught Queen and Slim.
Film started out pretty good, but as soon as real ideas starting hitting the screen it fell off, way off.
I just thought it was going to be one thing, and it turned out to be something else.

I haven’t purposely been skipping the film.
I just haven’t caught it before today.
Had no idea Lena was behind it, or I never would have started it tbh.

Now, I actually don’t mind Lena. I loved her in Masters of None, Ready Player One, the commercials she does. That’s her wheelhouse.

Nobody is perfect, I’m far from it that’s for sure. Not trying to judge her, the reviews and critics did a well enough job of that, but that film was a waste.

Oscar nominations out.

Wow, Daniel Kaluuya and Lakeith Stanfield both nominated for Best Supporting Actor.

that’s just plain strange. So that movie has no leading role?

also, I thought Soul should have gotten a Best Picture nod instead of just animation. It was one of the best films of the year easy.

Caught Walking Chaos Yesterday...Just A Missed Opportunity.

The Rewrites/Reshoots Ended With The Story/Characters Going Nowhere.

Speaking of 'Sound of Metal', I finally saw it this weekend. Absolutely fantastic movie. Riz Ahmed absolutely bodied that role. You really felt what he was going through, man. The sound mixing and editing was absolutely incredible. It definitely added to the entire presentation of the film.

7.5/8

Hero’s journey wise it’s spot on. The little detail Of us not getting subtitles until he understands but more so accepts sign language is great then the subs get taken out because he once again rejects that lifestyle that is inevitable. To go back and meet his girl/old life. I forgot her name

Catching up on the thread:

Hollywood going crazy over this random bowling alley marketing video. Really cool though, great possibilities if filmmakers grab a hold of it.

Imagine a Wick type action scene with this going.

Has to be 100% automated, but how do you still have no mistakes with the human effect, actors needing to be in a place at the exact time.

I keep going back and forth in my head about who the leading role was.

The movie starts and focuses on the Lakeith arc pretty much the entire way. Ultimately that was what the movie's moral dilemma was, and the story tips on that pretty much throughout, in terms of what happens to Hampton.

In case anyone was planning to watching the Justice League director’s cut. The review is actually funny in parts.

Knew the Snyder cut was a cop out for the movie being terrible. Editing even that much footage back in can't ultimately change what was hollow about it, because those parts are still there.

One of the weirdest/greatest acting performances.

I was today years old when I found out Eddie Murphy has 10 kids. His kids keep a remarkably low profile for having such a famous Dad, by today’s standards.

I legit might watch this whole thing from the start.
I’ve never seen anything this bad. Ever. I can’t take my eyes off. I hear the Pilot is litty AF!
It’s on!
Look at those reviews, I think I read 18 straight, that were all 1’s
