Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

Bruhhhhhhh im sittin heree with real tears in my eyes watchin Interstellar.

Macoughnahey watchin the vids that his kids....now adults sent him
That Score will drive any man to tears man.
Arrival is the same way. Moved soooo much by the Music that any emotional moment is going to put some water in my eyes.

Sound is amazing on those 2 Films in my opinion.

movie is so damn good. you got a link to that?

on a side note, i watched some of destination wedding. after about 40 minutes, i had to start skipping through huge chunks of it. super tedious movie centered on dialogue that's less palatable than nails on a chalkboard. pulling nose hairs/8.

Lodge49
Episode8 put this show in to high/8 area.

This writing is pretty spec man.
sidenote: I had to watch it on my F'ing phone though. What a crock.

Eh USA really just had Mr. Robot.

They tried to step their game up but nothing else is on that elite level. They just have a handful of entertaining shows.

Queen of the South has a compelling story but they from time to time have such cliche and cheese moments. Not to mention the cool action scenes they force.

The Purge show they have is bad.

So its just Suits and the Sinner left.

They aint step their game up to compete with Showtime or HBO.
I love Mr. Robot. I love he score, the music, the way they do the opening titles, the photography, everything. One of 2 shows where I bought the vinyl they released for it (the other being Stanger Things). Unless they’re super creative, I don’t think they can sustain the show though so it’s most likely coming to an end after the upcoming season. I just hope they wrap it up neatly.

i’m not endorsing any criminal activity here but have you ever considered a Very Private Nothing in case of TORRENTial rains?
:lol:I have other means of watching, quality was butt.
I found it in HD on one of my streams but it kept buffering, and today I had no time cuz.

You must've missed the announcement but the 4th season of Mr. Robot is the last.

And the shows greatness is a specific thing with Esmail and the cast. USA just let him do his thing.

They have not been able to give okay to other amazing creators.

I forgot it was officially announced that Mr. Robot was finishing out. :frown: That show is so imaginative. I’m intrigued by his new upcoming Amazon show.

A relative of mine used to work in the entertainment business & saidprwttu much the only celebrities that were honest to god down to earth was Ethan Hawke & Bobby DeNiro. She said eeeeeeeeeeerybody else were some jerk m******f*****s.

1st time hearing about Homecoming

Will watch for James and Cannavale.

White Boy Rick 4.5/8 - Something about this just didn't feel authentic. It left me wanting to know more and see more. Quality cast that kind of just dragged their feet through it outside of McConaughey. I mean Bruce Dern and Jennifer Jason Leigh... come on. Cool to see YG and Danny Brown on the big screen though...

Saw Valkyrie.

Thought it was a good film. Cruise was solid in this.

Only if that plot would have worked and it killed Hitler.

Alot of lives would have been saved.

Hawke has always been one of my favorite actors. I think he’s wildly successful but one of the more underrated actors in Hollywood. Everybody knows his name, he’s never really been straight to VHS status, but you never hear his name mentioned with the GOATS

I'd like to hate on Cruise bcs of the weirdo cult he belongs to, but his movies are always at least ok to catch on cable. I had no interest watching the flick in theaters but I had it on while I was working from home a while ago & I found the film to be surprisingly satisfactory considering it's from that POS bryan singer. The only thing I don't like about WW2 movies as of late is how all the Germans are always played by Brits. :smh::lol: That irks the crap out of me & having the central of von Stauffenberg played by Cruise with his American accent.

:wow: @ Fukunaga getting the bond gig. Should be very interesting.

Getting back to Mr. Robot, I loooved the reveal in S1 & then in S2 how you thought Elliot was voluntarily detoxing, stepping away from the internet & hacker groups, etc. As brilliant a hacker as Elliott is, it's terrifying to find out how effed up he is physiologically & emotionally.

A non British director?

Up next..... Michael Jai White as the next Bond!

But congrats to Fukunaga
There have been several non Brit Bond directors over the years with the last one having been Marc Forster who was German Born. Right off the top of the dome, there is also Lee Tamahori (Die Another Day) & Martin Campbell (Casino Royale) both are Kiwis & Roger Spottiswoode (Tomorrow Never Dies) a Canuck who also wrote 48Hours.

I could see that with Hawke. Watched Boyhood and then some YT interviews and he seems like a genuine artist.

His scores (like his NIN albums) have been soooo good. I lost some of my hearing in my left ear bcs of NIN.:stoneface:Yeeeears ago I saw them at the famed 9:30 Club in DC not long after Pretty Hate Machine had dropped. They played sooooo loud I couldn't hear from my left ear for 2-3 weeks. When it returned I noticed I lost a bit of hearing. I've since seen him a couple of time over the years & in other projects like a band called PIGface. What a talented musician. I had 2 old Jordan shoe boxes of concert ticket stubs I wish I had, but my moms threw it out when I moved out years ago... :frown::smh: Had tickets from Bad Brains, Black Flag, Run DMC when the Beasties opened for them, skate punk band The Faction with with Skate god Steve Caballero, Fugazi, lots of early rap shows ranging from Gang Starr to Lords of the Underground, Black Moon...
