Wow you guessed my height but off by an inch, I'm 5'7"
We're only 2 months in but damn, 2016 has gotta be one of the best years in a long, long time for JB releases.
Anyone that said Nike Air Jordan's are dead or played out is about to proved wrong in a variety of ways.
I was aware of the backstory of the Slam Dunks, just never paid any mind to the series itself.
Sakuragi is the last name of Hanamichi Sakuragi from the Slam Dunk manga series. I joined around the time of the Slam Dunk 6 release and used it as inspiration for a profile name. You know, alludes to Air Jordan. To get back on topic are we insinuating the red padding or is it fact?

I got that floyd mayweatheritis
LMAOOOOI got that floyd mayweatheritis
Will these have the NA on the heel?
Doubt they'll have vintage treatment. Well unless JB wants to drastically hurt their holiday revenue. The pic on the first page is just to show how the True Blues look with Nike Air. For whatever reason they dropped the 2001's with a Jumpman, but the Black Cements with NA.
You can see on Page 4 a sample with an NA insole, indicating they were ready to drop them with NA. The 2K1 True Blue was the first OG colorway to not feature the NA, they even added Retro+ for insult. Gentry and his JB goons wanted to make their collection more valuable, simple as that IMO.
Y'all wouldn't like Jordans if they were a FILA shoe either. Stop with that mess.
Tupac also wore them, enough said.I had the Grant Hill's back in elementary. Fila was fire back then.
& here I was just a few months ago regretting I slept on the '11 release of the TB 3s & now I got the chance to grab them in their proper form. This release will probably be frustrating like the WC 4s were.
True, it's good they're getting the details like that right. These may be better than the Cement '88s.

Red padding was included on the look-see samples according to PO.
Well as you can see I'm not unless if you want to count intelligence.Lmaoooo a hybrid between the 2 I guess, Idk.
True material wise but others may not like that certain model like that. The only 2s I would like own are the White, Red, and Black version. So you don't think that remastered 2s.... Made in Italy.... Mold on point everything legit will sell.... Sak thats half the reason we don't buy 2s... A bunch of 1s haven't come out..... Some of those metallics came out round 08-09....
Nah son, there's 3 3s left. The 88 pair had the Jumpman on the bottom and where recycled 2011 pairs.
They did have the perforation on the collar but that's about it.The '88s were not recycled. They have differences from the 2011s that go beyond the NA on the heel. They weren't just '11s slapped with NA.

The shape in the front and sizing of the mold were different. I had both side by side and it was noticeable. The quality was also improved. I never got to wear them since I had still had 2 DS 2011 pairs to wear and I was offered $700 (9.5) for them and took it. I don't regret it anymore since they will probably re-release with full NA treatment in a couple of years.
Happy about this. As much as I love having the 2011s there's still things about them that piss me off: the shape, the stiff leather, they're long and narrow so I went down a half size but they're not quite comfortable. I beat my 04 fire red 3s into the ground and it literally took me 6-7 years before they looked even a little bit bad. I don't rock my 2011 true blues more than once ever 5-6 months just cause I don't think they'll hold up. Definitely in for these with a better shape and better leather. Nike Air on the back is just icing on the cake.
Flips are another shoe that i'd love to see drop again actually. White and Black.
