He always finishes the albums last minute. This isn't new. He submits them the week before they're set to release and then keeps tweaking the mixing and rerelease a better masters later.

IDK why everyone was so hype for a new track on Friday. Kanye never said he was doing GOOD Fridays again. it was all just internet speculation cause he happened to drop Real Friends on a Friday. Ppl automatically assumed he was gonna drop something new every week. We never heard him actually say that tho. Relax.
