OFFICIAL Ye fka "kanYe West" x G.O.O.D. Music Thread - ¥$ (AKA YE X TY DOLLA SIGN) - VULTURES 2 (NOW AVAILABLE sorta)

A lot of people really hate Yeezus still. The album definitely grew on me and in hindsight I've learned to appreciate the album. For what it's worth for all the Yeezus haters- would you prefer no album since 2011 as oppose to the one we got in 2013?

He could've kept Yeezus and Cruel Summer (except for 2 tracks).

That's cool. Lucky for y'all Jeru the Damaja dropped right after with that real hip hop you needed. No one's forcing you to listen to Yeezus. In fact I wish the millions of alleged album haters would have sworn off any venue that played that trash like a lot of them said they would so the show tickets would have been easier to come by. ****'s still sold out, despite how much everyone hated it. Makes no damn sense.
You realize people's opinion on the internet doesn't represent his entire fanbase right?

:lol

Son you sound like somebody offended you. If you like that ****, then bump it. Everybody's not gonna agree. It's been 2 years since it dropped and I don't care how many Ye stans say it's great it's still a bad album to me.

“I’m just living my life. I’m having a good time, I’m with my family, and I’m getting the opportunity to create, work on my clothes, work on my films, work on DONDA, work on the next album, work on it slowly, make it an art project, deliver the innovation I know and that I’ve consistently done since 808s and Dark Fantasy. I’m in my own zone. I can’t walk around tryna defend myself.”

Did Yeezus just snub Yeezus?   8o

"Since". I'm gonna continue innovating like I've been doing since 2008 and 2010.

If there's anything you can say about Yeezus, like it or not, was that it was innovative in the vacuum of popular rap that Ye exists in. So I doubt he was trying to say it wasn't innovative.

Yeezus was okay, I come to Ye for new ****. I'd rather have something left field like Yeezus than for him to be "safe" and give us soul samples or whatever. At that point he becomes a parody of himself like Drake is on the road to become (if he doesn't switch it up) with every song featuring the same beats and a reference to the "6".

Great production, but lazy content. **** sounded like he was half-inspired.

This is a nice video, nice simple...I rock with it. I always appreciate a song more when we get a good visual for it

I liked how Ye and Sean were going back and forth in the video at the end. Exactly how I pictured it would be.

His midset has turned into garbage. Needs to pick it up as he is starting to lose the crowd.
