Apparently this might drop U2 style tomorrow (June b/c Kanye dealing with Apple Music/Beats (but I don't see how that's possible when the Beats App hasn't even been relaunched) a la Drake and Pharrell + Apple investing in DONDA.

I got free tickets from the label 2 days before the show and was told it wasn't sold out.

Vic does DJ gigs and he's doing a small tour starting this month and some festival dates this summer I believe.

Apple thing would be crazy. Dude deleted all his Tidal posts. I don't know.....

As far as the album, a friend made a good point to me yesterday. You usually announce a baby when you're 3 months into pregnancy. Baby comes in 9 months.

So there is a 6 month window there between announce and birth. And if you're an artist (or anyone for that matter), you're trying to get as much work in as possible before the kid comes.

So hopefully the album comes soon.

I don't think it's like the Nets. I think it's larger than that but honestly "ownership" can be vague when you're talking deals of that magnitude.

I believe even Roc Nation is partially owned by Live Nation.

Last show of his I went to was GITD. That was a great show.

Yeezus I didn't even bother with because I thought the album was a chaotic mess for the most part. So I didn't want to subject myself to that live.

Again, I don't go to live music shows for theatrics if I'm not ******* with the music.

My wife went to the NY Yeezus show to see Tribe Called Quests last show (which I don't even think sold out).

She said it was OK. Said the "rant" definitely detracted from the show.

I rock with you on everything just posted kept for Yeezus....Grows on me everytime I hear it...I feel like it's still ahead of it's time

Jay would definitely have to take that L, Apple investing in DONDA would be a big deal. Bigger than some perceived "loyalty" he has to Hov (when he was type disloyal for rolling with Hov in the first place, so Hov should chalk it to the game).

Sidenote: am I the only one disappointed in the Ye/Dame partnership so far? All it has been is Dame tacking Kanyes name onto #pobre barbershop movies he obviously had no involvement in an effort to get that hipster/hypebeast market Ye controls.
