...?

I don't know how to answer your question man. You're making a lot of assumptions about his creative process/mindset. When has Kanye ever rushed out a product?

Late Registration, 808s, and Watch the Throne were all made in a year... I think you should just sit back and trust that if you hear it, it's ready.

why do you all think that? he's already said the album will be short in length and minimalistic akin to yeezus.

you're probably gonna get more of the same. maybe with more soul samples but still that harsh bass under everything -- not a totally different sound. it's the place he's been in on his last few albums. mbdtf is so far removed from that. kanye doesn't seem like the sort of person to move backwards.

I think this next album is going to be Kanye's biggest and best (undisputed) album yet

Bruce Springsteen was 5 albums deep and considered a very successful artist
then he dropped his 6th album , callled Nebraska
Here's a description: "The album's uncompromising sound and mood, combined with its dark lyrical content has been described by a music critic as 'one of the most challenging albums ever released by a major star on a major record label.'"

Sound familiar? ... Yeezus, anyone?
Bruce Springsteen's next album was Born in the USA, which sold 30 million worldwide and heralded as one of the best albums ever

He referenced Bruce's career arc in a recent interview, and
Kanye is so self aware and in touch with his audience that he knows exactly what Yeezus did last time around.
And that same instinct is what will drive him to deliver the "right" album this year

edit: i agree with this going to be Graduation-esque

"I think my next album is going to be eight songs," West said. "It's just reducing down the amount of information that you need. People say a design is the point where you can't take anything else away. [Yeezus] was very, very designed. I took a departure from radio and popular music in order to get this seat here. If I hadn't made Yeezus, I wouldn't be sitting here with this cool font at Basel right here."

"Bruce Springsteen dropped this album called Nebraska and right after that he did Born In The U.S.A.. This next one, I have a feeling, because of what we did right now, has to be Born In The U.S.A.."

tbh dont even care already know its gonna be fire :hat

So he's going super minimalism? My dude is about to start rapping over Apex Twin beats--which would actually be quite interesting...:lol

is what confirmed? postponing the tour dates? that's confirmed.

he's dropping an album this year, prob this summer. summer has always been his target date.

Eh. Forward movement only. Looped up soul samples are boring and passé. Do not want.

All of his albums have sounded different from the last so if he's sticking with that Yeezus sound and weak lyrics I'll be a lil surprised. His super hardcore fans and critics will eat it up regardless though.

His management company Roc Nation were the ones who posted about him cancelling tour dates to finish up his album.  It's on their official site.  Kanye never tweets about anything.

http://rocnation.com/kanye-west-postpones-australian-tour/
Due to unexpected timing requirements to finish his highly anticipated new studio album, scheduled for a 2014 release, Kanye West regretfully announces the postponement of his upcoming tour dates in Australia.
Considering people in Australia actually got notified their tickets were rescheduled, we know it's not a joke.
