That Runaway outro man...... Straight greatness . Probably my favorite part of MBDTF.
hope ye tours sometime soon
i still don't understand how cats are calling Yeezus trash
I just don't see it.
this is one of the BEST albums to drop in a long time PERIOD.
Hip-hop needed this to show our growth and versatility whether you like the music on the disc or not.
The thing is it's NOT THAT different.I understand the hate for it. It's very different.
Sidenote, it took me awhile to realize how sexually vulgar this album is
Every song almost. Speaking of, I have a theory Yeezus is what Kanye named his D....
"Tight dress dancin close to him, Yeezus just rose again"
I mean, it makes sense....
someone will quote me and rip me apart probably the same people who are contributing to the thread regularly and don't even like the album.
hope ye tours sometime soon
Whoa!
Anyone know how to rep someone more than once?Took MCHG out the car and put Yeezus back in. Still bangs

Most of the people who hate the album don't like Kanye or anything he's done post Late Registration to begin with.
But track by track what's soooo different about the stuff on here? On Sight is out there, ok. Everything else? Guilt Trip would have been right at home on 808s. Blood on the Leaves and Bound 2 would have sat fine on MBDTF. Everything else sounds like all the Travi$ Scott inspired stuff he's been doing since Cruel Summer. And as I've said several times, take Crown off MCHG and it could have been a Yeezus track. Other people are making the same stuff (granted Travi$ Scott is the common denominator in that example.)
And when you actually listen to the verses on Yeezus, it's not even like he's rapping any differently than he has been his whole career. It's the same campy, Kanye humorous, struggle punchlines. He has like 2 very bad/whack verses on the whole album.
People are like Kanye lost his mind with this album, but it's the same **** he's BEEN doing just modernized a little. ****** don't want to say "I just don't like the way this **** sounds personally" or "I don't like Kanye" so they try to find ******** reasons to discredit the album as a work. Sonically, aurally, and production wise this **** is dope. If you're looking for 48 hard bars every track, this isn't the album for you, (and honestly I don't know what is right now, because since GKMC, no one's really been spitting like that anyway) but if you want to hear a bunch of **** that sounds cool and bangs in the whip/club this is the best thing out.
The thing is people are saying "I don't like the way this sounds, because it isn't good" as opposed to just leaving it at I don't like the way it sounds.Well said GatorBelts. I was tempted to touch on the subject matter and how this dude is supposedly happy with his woman and having a baby girl.
And this is what we get. You nailed everything else as well. Son is a mess.
Nako, much the way you say people who don't like the album don't like Kanye, couldn't you just as easily say that the majority of the people eating it up are diehard Kanye fans?
On Sight is out there. Guilt Trip sounds like it could have been on his other terrible album. Blood On The Leaves and Bound 2 are the best 2 tracks on there.
I also don't understand one thing you said. I think a lot of us are saying "I just don't like the way this **** sounds personally". And you're seeing that as "discrediting the album".
And that includes "Sonically, aurally, and production wise". It's all one in the same.
