Overall it was to me a very solid performance by the US.

The man of the match definitely goes to Jermaine Jones. Dude was putting in work for the whole 90

Also great performances by Zusi, Parkhurst, Bunbury, and Shea

Really happy for Ricardo.

Either way it's no secret that he's technically and tactically behind at this level, what's telling is how much this might have been overstated at camp cup cake of all places, particularly compared to the new generation. The depths of are pool visibly getting deeper.

I think Bunbury, Parkhurst, Cameron, and Jones all helped themselves tonight.  Zusi showed good flashes.  Brek seemed to press a bit too much with the ball at his feet, but he created 3 great opportunities.
I also like the way AJ DeLaGarza plays, could be a nice option at right back after Dolo retires.

Zusi was a big part of why I made watching Sporting KC a habit this season. Great technique but it's gonna be tough for him to break into our midfield.

I've always been adamant that Jones when healthy and in form is our best CDM option bar none. Too me he's Donovan/Dempsey class.

I have a feeling Bunbury, De La Garza and Cameron are going to be around for a while.

Damn this should be a fun Olympics run for the US. I like the U-23 squad more than the senior club.

Jermaine is a talented player. Dude has the soccer skill, but sometimes he makes bone head plays. De la Garza impressive me the most. Looks like he can play at this level at least is what he showed in this game. Overall good result and a positive for these young guys. On to Panama.
