I'm thinkin the only reason ABed wasn't included was b/c he's in the middle of the season. I know, I'm reachin' but still.

Chandler says it's been a long season "physically and emotionally" so that's why he elected to stay home. that's some %%%+#%#% if you ask me, the kid's only 21. It's lookin' like he'll be playing for Germany in the Euros.

I'm not that mad at the R.Rogers inclusion, he played VERY well at the last goal cup and in WC qualifying. He's very skilled w/ the ball at his feet and can be dangerous. Glad to see Freddy back in the mix - and I honestly think it was either him or Mix who were gonna make it.

Tim Ream needs to be starting at CB

You DO realize that the starting 11 we field is gonna be ALOT better than the 11 we put on the field in our first WC game don't you?

Apparently Nuremberg really pressured Chandler to decline his invitation to the Gold Cup. They feel that as a competition it's completely irrelevant.

The excuses were just that, excuses, but I can understand wanting to stay on good terms with your FO after your breakout season. Chandler wasn't even a professional this time last year.

I don't think we have to worry about him suiting up for Germany. It just shows what Bundesliga thinks of CONCACAF.

And he'll be eligible for the Olympics. That U23 squad is looking right.

True. I think we're good w/ Timmy in regards to Germany. At least that's how BB is leading us to believe.

“We were pleased with what it was like to bring him into the camp in March and get him on the field. We continued to follow his play at Nürnberg and we’ve had a number of different discussions with Timmy and with the club and when we added them all up at the end of the season, his first real season playing at this level, we felt that it didn’t make sense at this time for him. He’s carried a few little injuries of late. He has told us that physically and mentally this season has been a hard one. We feel strongly that we’ve worked hard to build a good relationship with him and felt that when you added everything up that the time wasn’t right for this Gold Cup.

Yea the cut off birth yea for the Olympics is '89. Three overage players are allowed unless they changed it since the 2008 games, I know FIFA wants it to be strictly U23.

Chandler hasn't done enough to figure into the German's plans right now. They're stacked though, I'm sure they've lost 0 sleep over him. With 2-3 more years of development though? Idk, he could be good enough.

Glad to see Wondo in there. Dude can be straight clinical in front of goal, but his game isn't suited to international play. But would like to be proved wrong. Hopefully Teal can get some true burn in qualifiers.

I do like that though, I'd probably switch Landon and Feilhaber, let Feilhaber distribute and leave Landon free to do his thing up and down either side of the field with Jones as the ball winner replacing either Edu or Bradley.

Yeah the USMNT brass has already said they plan to bring Agudelo along slowly. He's not even starting for NY yet anyway.
