Problem is Nike had poor leadership that made stupid decisions over the past 5 or so years. They probably didn't expect retro sales to slow down like they have, for younger customers to go to other brands, and this is all compiled with the general recent downturn of the economy.

Not sure what their strategy is, I have noticed they've started throwing NA on random GR retro releases now so there is that I guess lol

I agree with everything you're saying. Its weird, don't they have people young enough to advise them on releases? There's gotta be somebody in there like 26 yrs old saying, "this olive green 3 is trash and shouldn't be released, so is this Easter 3."

Try once again, get thru queue, empty cart

Went to home page, turned on vpn, added the muslin pair to cart to checkout, no queue and was able to put an entry in

Based on people I've talked to/know there, there are a lot of politics and often the wrong people get promoted or the wrong people stay in positions because of politics/tenure (which isn't even unique to Nike/JB as it happens in a lot of massive corporations). I think the new leadership is trying to change that but that will take a few years to see actual results. I know they are investing a lot into market research so I guess we'll see if the strategy pays off in five years or so.
