Bummer, just got my pair from TS site finally and the outsole/midsole is blue. With tons of markings. Gonna off these. Terrible QC.

Looks exactly like the top pair. Its got a blue tint with smudges everywhere unlike the bottom pair which is a clean brown.

Cheapest TS1 on the market, people want the shoe simply because it’s a limited TSSo are ppl coming around on these? There was nothing but hate in here at 1st.

Humor me.
Why would me questioning whether or not a cloudly/ashy finish on the surface of something being mold release be the “dumbest thing” you’ve ever heard?
I ask because I work in manufacturing and we use industrial mold release agents made of in part calcium aluminate that leaves behind cloudy residue like this. Feel free to drop some knowledge on the thread.

Yeah it looks like a chemical reaction to the brown paint or midsole rubber? I’m not sure but it’s very strange. And the pairs I’ve seen online with the purple tinted midsole all have it.

I was thinking it’s cleanable too, I mean it does look like some sort of residue. But having them in hand versus looking at pictures can produce a completely different opinion

OP had them in hand and his instinct was to try and clean them. If it’s not coming off it’s gotta be something set into the rubber

Ah gotcha. To me those read more as purple. But I can see it also as a silvery-blue. Yeah id wanna swap em out too.

IMO the laces are intentionally this length on Travis’s. If you wanna tie them, you do it just how you have, but if you want loose lace, they hang with perfect length through the final eyelets.

I hit on SNKRS and then have never hit on a TS shoe after that. Probably slightly easier than TS shoes after the Mocha Highs but still pretty hard.
Sold the green TS 6 for like $500-700.
