knew about the swoosh, not the jumpman. but that's jerseys. and it'd be on every teams'.
if you were talking about kicks, then what would the sponsored athletes from other brands like Lowry and TRoss do? the kicks are what they're sponsored for, and who knows, maybe some of them prefer other brands from a performance standpoint.

personally i highly doubt the nba would allow the jumpman logo onto the jerseys. 2 silhouettes, one on each shoulder seems a bit much. the jumpman logo already overshadows the accomplishments of a lot of the athletes under jb. the nba would not like taking a chance on jb stealing their brand's limelight.

The Jordan store was the first time I ever camped out, Holt being the 2nd. Honestly, I give up, I'm never camping for a sneaker ever again, there's no regulations and it's so poorly organized it's not even worth my time, absolutely horrid.

So no overnight but nobody can stop them lining up when the sun breaks out or when they allow them going in...4AM? 5AM? 6AM?
I bet the people who will be first in line will be Yorkdale employees who will use to gain access to the building first but are on their day off or have a late shift.
Unless you work there or know someone, I doubt you'll be able to be 1 of 14 "lucky" buyers

In some degree, yes...but not all. If that's your logic then all "hyped" releases will be consumed by all employees. Nothing will be left by the loyal customers who are your bread and butter.
What is fair is allot a certain percentage of your supply, maybe 25% and then raffle those pairs to the employees and then their relatives are not allowed to sign-up for the specific location as to avoid a notion of raffles being rigged.
That's why even in big raffles -- not shoes -- like lotteries, you actually have to attest that you are not related to anybody that is holding/sponsoring the raffle/lottery.

Actually I heard Nike takes 10% of stock and raffles it to the employees, but I doubt that's the case with private sneaker shops like Livestock and such.

I agree with that sentiment -- but to a limit.
Obviously, a store has to look out for their regulars. Why would you sell to some random camper that never buys anything other than hyped releases when you can sell to someone that regularly spends money at your store? That's why I'm surprised Holt is even doing a lineup at all -- I just assumed their personal shoppers would just give the Yeezys to their VIPs.
And I get you should give your employees some perks -- some of these retail jobs don't pay a lot and getting access is fair perk.
However, if the entire allotment (especially exclusive stuff) is backdoored to employees and their friends and they lie to the public as if they have a fair raffle, that's just plain corrupt. If I worked for the government and 'hooked up' friends/family/myself with grants and tax breaks or if I was a cop and 'looked the other way' when my friends were doing illegal stuff -- that's corruption.
I honestly would respect a store more if they straight up said "We only have size X, Y & Z left after some pairs were internally distributed" -- at least they are being honest. I've saved myself lining up cuz a store straight up told me that my size was already 'spoken for' -- sucks, but at least I didn't waste my time. Obviously, Nike/Adidas/whoever won't like that much. Haha.
Oh well - not even trying for Yeezys or any releases lately -- but this is entertaining.

For me the hype is dead when I can walk in a store on release day -- not even a week after release day - and be able to get my size. Not only for non-popular retro models and colours but for every model and colourway.
Unless I can do that for every release, Jordan Brand hasn't declined

Maybe its time to stop hyping releases. Just drop em and thats it. No shoe is worth lining up for when you can buy resale within 2 hours of it dropping.
