assuming the resellers don't get too greedy like they were with the BRED toes. Resllers are always gonna eat but fingers crossed that all the real heads get a pair too

yeah but even with the bred toes you saw random people offing their pairs for around 300. and you can tell the hype on these

What is retail? I'm not going to lie, I haven't bought a Jordan sneaker in many many years. I still like them but I just was buying mostly running silhouettes and actually using them to run and workout in for a bunch of years. Shadows are tempting me though because I love a clean black and grey sneaker...

No details on shadow release making me worry a little, no posts on potential raffles that are usually done the monday and tuesday before release as far as footlocker goes

I hope so, but at the same time this is a very wearable OG colour.
Hoping for the best but am prepared for the worst (sold a pair of bred toes for $450 just in case resell is lit on these shadows).

nice come up on the bred toes. i'm just basing it off the Royal 1 drop. Royals were previously sold for 600-700 range
but with last year's drop, people had so many pairs resell was so low. even until today.

I've had mostly good dealings with Kijiji. I'm also a bit of *** to people when they try to lowball me or ask too many questions - that tactic alone seems to weed out the flakes. Try **** on in the store? Hell nah - ain't got time for that.
Speaking of weed - bought a sweatshirt from a dude 9/10 condition for dirt cheap. Met up, looked it over (was legit) but when I walked away from the deal and opened the bag, the **** hit me like a ton of bricks. **** was stained with sess odour. Had to just dump it at the local donation box - fail on me.

I can confirm that Shadows is up in the air for Saturday. FL/Champs/FA will all be doing FCFS because they have no idea when it'll arrive. I guess it'll just randomly drop whenever they get it.

pretty much.
go back to page 1844 of this thread. that was day of bred toe release with a lot of updates and what not in this chat on what was going on throughout that day.

Yup. The Bred Toe release was such a mess because stores did not know when they would receive their pairs, so people ended up waiting all day and most stores dropped them near closing time

From the people I have talked too, stores might not even advise folks to come and wait around on Saturday. But hopefully we get more info closer to the date.

As a guy who doesn't live in Toronto and had followed basketball long before the NBA expanded to Canada, I do think it's a bit cringe-worthy when they keep marketing the Raptors as "Canada's team". Changing the team colors so their primary colors became white and red, the "We the North" slogan, Devlin shouting out Canadian cities, etc - it's all corny to me. It's a Toronto team, not Canada's.
With that being said, I guess it's a good way to rope in kids and people who never followed the NBA before the Raptors got there though.
