I was about to say the same thing. None of the 'new' stuff you cop from the store is fresh from the factory. They've been tried on by people with questionable hygiene, they've been thrown around, etc. As long as you wash/dry clean the stuff, you should be fine. 20/20 did a story a few years ago, and it was shown that all 'new' clothes have traces of semen and feces, so...yeah.Originally Posted by YouMadYouBad

i feel like that too man. theres soooo many dirty people out there
Wow seriously, I hope you realize most of the clothing you wear is made in sweatshops where conditions are no better then a barn yard. O and don't forget the same clothes you buy from the store are shipped, possibly dropped, stepped on, etc etc. Get over yourself. You poop and Pee just like everyone else.

I am also a big fan of vintage clothes. I have a whole closet dedicated to "collectibles" I need to start selling them off. A Goodwill I was at recently had a bunch of Stephen King books for sale in brand new condition. I should have bought them and flipped them on ebay but I am entirely too lazy for that. Maybe when my blog takes off I'll have a section of things for sale. I don't like ebay and their fees.Originally Posted by BlackStilettos

I love vintage shopping. I got an amazing Hermes (I don't know how to do the accents on NT) scarf for a really great price. I had it appraised, and it's considered valuable. Also got a nice dress from the 50s, and I always get compliments on it when I wear it. I sometimes buy my books from thrift stores because they'll have bestsellers for like 3/$1. I copped a ton of Stephen King book for $5 that way.
