For those of you who still live at home. How do you convince parents that tattoos aren't bad? My mom thinks that tattoos are only for delinquents.

You can always wait till you move out. I got my first tat at 28. I actually preferred to get it later. Most guys I know that got tatted back in high school or college all did cover ups or they look horrible.
I want to post it so bad but i feel like it will bite me in the *** later. ...
it's that bad..
If they ain't on NT, pretty sure they ain't gonna find it!I know a guy who got a tattoo like 2 weeks ago...

if any of you guys are in the bay area and looking for traditional american/sailor jerry tattoos, Henry Lewis at Skull and Sword in SF is pretty damn spectacular
haven't gotten anything done by him (as an asian american, can't say that i'd put a "traditional" american tattoo on myself) but a chick i dated in the past used to go to him exclusively. have to say, i appreciated looking at his artwork more than i appreciated looking at the person they were on.

I'm Filipino man.. sooo, I kinda feel you on not putting traditional American on me.. but I've got a bunch of Filipino ink on me and I sure as hell am more American, in a lot of ways. Figured I'd give the ol' Murica a shout out in the piece for my wife.
Oh shoot, I didn't even know it was that accurate. That's pretty scary that image search is that on point.I have google image searched **** before to find exactly the image I was looking for in an NT thread. Yes on multiple occasions.
I've gotten traditional work done by a Filipino tattoo artist and that's really all he does. It doesn't matter.
I think Moe was more concerned about the actual tattoo, not who was tattin' it. Either way though, it may matter to the individual who is getting inked up (whether we think that's right or wrong is another subject). I understand that there are some people who prefer to only have tattoos on themselves that are from their ethnic history.
Heck - my traditional Filipino work was created by a Filipino, outlined by a Hawaiian, and finished by a Black dude.
Actually it is. Are you into the culture or heavily tattooed? If not then you woudnt understand, nor is it worth it to explain why. That's actually a terrible reason.
can u pm his info. Id like to check him out. Ive been wanting a family tree forever and I'm only about an hr from bufMy artist moved to Buffalo while my foot was broke.
Hes gonna come back to NYC every now and then so ill just have to wait til then. No rush though.
