^^^Man....NT's own BJ Betts was in town no too long ago. Dude has good script.

I am only partial to SF and some stores outside it. What sucks is there isn't a whole lot of great script guys out there or maybe I just don't know of any. Here are always my usual suggestions.

Derick Montez at Everlasting. Dude has that wild script style that I like:

Henry Lewis at Skull and Sword. Most unique script out there:

I believe Greg Rojas at 7th Son got some sciprt skills too but can't find any images (at work): http://seventhsontattoo.com/

Tobias at Humble Beginnings I think is good too: Toby Torres: http://www.humblebeginningstattoo.com/

I'll think of some more later.

Tatu Baby :evil :o

O was watching the marathon earlier today her cake is fat. These are the worst artists ever, I feel bad for the people who get tattooed on there. I don't know how Sebastian or Kafi stayed that long.

Tatu Baby can sit on my face. I would never, ever sign up to get a tattoo on one of these reality shows. People who do must be crazy. I don't want a time limit and an artist under lots of pressure to be working on me.

Holy hell that fl back piece with the gator Picasso posted is too I'll.

The problem half the time is the client. If you work with them they can do an amazing tat but it seems like ppl are so unwilling to change what they want.

If I went on one I would be like "what works for you and what can we do..."

anyone in ohio know anyone who does good portraits/fine art pieces and good with dark skin? tried to skim thread but i cant find anything solid. near columbus but also frequent cleveland/akron/toledo.

I feel like I am missing out in that reality show, even if it is bad. Most tattoo artists I know boycotted that show and like Instagrammed how much others shouldn't watch it. I guess the show did good enough to be picked up again for another season. Tattooing is just that huge I guess.

Pretty much.

I understand it's your body, but your getting a free tattoo, wouldn't you take something the artist can do rather than being difficult about the process.

Lol, it's all part of the show. It adds to the drama.

I 2nd on the Derrick Montez recommendation. Actually Fong you were the one who told me to go to him thanks. I was beyond happy. I tried to go to Greg Rojas, dropped my number off at the shop and he never called back. Derrick was able to get me in the next week

Been wanting a new tat for a while, I want a skeleton hunched over wearing a crown on a baroque-style throne with a wall of flames behind it and rocks and shell casings scattered about the throne. Only thing is my boy is legally blind in his left eye and I'm not sure I trust it anymore. I know it'll be free thru my boy but I don't wanna risk getting a F'd up tat. Suggestions? I'm near San Bernardino.

^^^ I've always wondered how much him and Roman charge... They'd both really good artist from the west coast

I am more concerned about getting on the waiting list than getting charged. :lol

People like him literally get flooded with these request.

But I want to see how Wale's Malcolm tattoo looks like now without being airbrushed from a magazine. According to my good artist (who is somewhat famous, tattooed a few celebs) Greywash + Dark Skin don't mix. It doesn't heal well. Dark skin like mine and his need a lot of negative space (non shaded parts). I can tell he is right based on a tat I got before I knew this.

Mr. Fongstarr - Thanks for the shout out, man. Really appreciate it.
I'll be out in SF again next month, working at Skull & Sword. I'll post it on my Instagram, as usual. ( @bjbetts )
Everybody you mentioned does great lettering. Henry is one of my favorite, for sure.
I actually tattooed Nikko a few days ago, and we've been great friends for quite a while.. I mentioned this thread to him haha. He's definitely a busy dude, and has somebody answering (or attempting to answer) his emails, so sometimes is takes a while.
All the best
