man I just came in here to post that pic. Such a good design and thought process behind this. Not an expert in tattoos, but a thought out composition is really a plus.

And quick question for people that have arm tattoos. Been wondering this and tried to make sense of it but can't. Which arm did you guys get tattooed on first? For some reason, I always think people do the left arm where as I did the right arm. And I only did the right cause I am right handed. I am probably generalizing but I swear I see more left then right.

I did right arm too, for a practical reason...Everytime I drive with a short sleeve shirt on, more sunlight hits my left arm than my right, so I got my sleeve on my right arm for less fading

I didn't really notice this, but good observation. I don't really have a specific reason why I chose my left arm?

Cost is all relative. It's really hard to say how much a tattoo could cost. Depends on so many variables from size, quality, how detailed, etc. Cover ups don't really cost anymore then what a real tattoo could cost. I mean if you plan on lazering, then you could add that into the cost cause cover ups only really work if the previous tattoo is faded or lasered. If it is pretty dark or fresh, you'll practically see it right through the other tattoo.

But a chest piece in my mind would be ball parked at about 1-2k no problem. Of course with color and more detailed, it could be more.

I had my chest and stomach covered from dumbass decisions and it cost me a little over 1k. Mine is all black and grey, color will cost more and will take a more skilled artist to complete the cover up and make it look right.

You can always try to make an older tattoo just look better. I seen this done by Annie Frenzel the other day. Looks so much better after a touch up.

After threading through these pages, got me convinced into getting a tattoo. How you guys feeling this one? And I've been thinking about switching the words to, "The World Is Yours". The picture represents the deconstruction of the world and the idea that you must look past the broader picture, and into in more depth the definitive nature of things as broken down pieces.

Itching to get my back started, dont really know what I want just yet. Im thinking a tiger, Japanese style, or maybe a large clipper ship with traditional elements surrounding it. Would want the clipper ship kinda tattered, pirate-ish I guess.

BTW, anyone seen Justin Bieber's little *** tattoos? He has a chief head on his back, a little owl on his arm, praying hands near his ankles, and various other small tattoos.

I give him about 2 more years til he yolo's out and gets full sleeves.

I'm trying to get some ideas for half sleeves I'm trying to get, only thing I know is I want them to be a japanese theme. Both arms from elbow to wrist, I got in contact with Jeff Gogue but he said he's booked for 2 years |I . Does anyone now of any artist similar to Jeffs style? Im willing to travel from NY too
