I havent gotten a tat from a shop in forever but tomorrow im finally getting something done. A cover up from when I was experimenting on myself in high school
Its not a big deal cover up but this is what ill be getting tomorrow. I designed it myself, just used a skull and rose reference from google

Are you going to have it horizontal? Skull sitting sideways would just bug the crap out of me. That's me though. Image is cool though. You have to of the main things that everyone loves to tattoo......roses and skulls.

its going to be vertical like the pic. Its going down my outer forearm.

Oh...I guess that's cool. So whenever you bend your elbow to show you tat, your arm will be horizontal anyways.

I wanna get something on the back of my neck right where that first potruding bone is, or some script. Only place for script would be my ribs. Im not a fan of leg tattoos so its pretty much those 2 spots.

Im not too fond either. Cigar provokes too many thoughts and that shadow on the shoulder looks a bit odd. Almost looks like a boob and areola.

Hopefully they do a pattern on the kimono, kind of like below. Personally I would just tell him to go crazy on the colors. Like the more the merrier. I like red personally for the clothes with accents of blue, yellow and even green. Most other colors won't show up that well. Stay away from purples and dark blues as the dominant color. They just end up getting dark and clash with the blacks.
