I've had no problem with my same size in ebbets as in new era, but if in doubt, size up one because the wool will eventually (I'm talking it's dozens of wears) shrink to fit.

I personally stuck to my normal New Era sizing and it was fine. It was a snug good fit. So I would say if you are inbetween sizing go up.
