:::[Official] [SUPER BOWL XLVII] San Francisco 49ers. vs. Baltimore Ravens @ Mercedez-Benz Superdome

So when Crabtree had his hands all over the DBs facemask that wasn't also a flag?

i think he was doing that to try to pull away from the hold to be honest...it's not like he grabbed his facemask right away when he was trying to make his move to the outside. he was being held on a timing route and had to do something to get away. he would have been better off throwing his arms into the air and making the hold even more blatant though. still don't think the refs would have thrown the flag in that situation though.

as a steelers fan, this matchup was a lose lose. i absolutely hate seeing the ravens win, but at the same time, i can at least take solace in the fact that we are still the only team with 6 lombardies.

Good **** Bmore, you guy deserved it and played very good through out the whole game. I'd have to give it to my Niners for catching up and putting themselves in a position to win. Great Superbowl.

Congrats to the Ravens. I really wanted the Niners to win, but that Ravens defense was just too strong. Couple of thoughts about the game

1.) Props to the Niners for a incredible second half comeback. They nearly pulled off one of the most impressive comebacks in Super Bowl history
2.) Michael Crabtree should be kicking himself. I place alot of this loss on his shoulders for having butterfingers in the most crucial plays of the game,
3.) The blackout was definitely the most thing ive ever seen in the Super Bowl.
4.) Good riddens to Ray Lewis. I have no appreciation for the guy and am glad I wont have to see him in tears weekly anymore :smokin:smokin

Don't forget about Vernon Davis ... he dropped a pass were he could have went all the way .... that whole 49ers receiving core need some reshaping

Damn, no frontrunner4life champion offseason thread. Was always funny seeing the SN's he added to the team...

Jacoby Jones should have at least won Co MVP .... basically saved the season on a Joe Flacco Hail Mary .... and then has the longest return in NFL history ... and had a crucial TD catch near the end of the 2nd quarter + he broke the Super Bowl record for total yards from scrimmage at 290 yards ( Kick Yards, Punt Yards + Receiving yards )

Wound up being a great game, and that's all I went in to it hoping would happen. The winner didn't matter to me.

Jones 109 yard return though, guy knew he was taking it out once he caught it :x :hat . And taking the safety to eat up clock was genius.

See you all next season. J-E-T-S?

It was on his fingertips. He only would've caught had he laid out. In that instance he would not have scored. Didn't matter anyway, Gore nearly had it on his run. Speaking of, they should've rode him into the endzone.

I agree though, 49ers WR corps needs some shaping up. Moss likely wont return, Manningham is also a question mark.

logged in just to say this.....

i wonder what j-rain is thinking RIGHT NOW.

like....whats his take? lmao

Yeah i agree but the whole blame can't be put on Crabtree ... he was the only guy on the field making catches ... Vernon made a couple but disappeared sometimes and Moss was a non factor ... and i agree they should have run a fake like the TD against Atlanta and fed Gore the ball not a pass play

so salty about the blackout

49ners wouldn't have come back like that

Yeah me too but glad Baltimore won it ... how does that even happen under the NFL's watch ... this is the biggest game of the year the Super Bowl not some regular season game at least have a back up generator :{
