:::OFFICIAL SNEAKER CARE/MAINTENANCE POST::: (It's back!)

Ok so there's a thin line of glue residue above the soles of my Retro V's (metallic black silver fire-red). What should I use to remove it? I knowcertain chemicals have to be used to remove glue residue on certain types of materials and I don't want to damage the shoes.

ps. I've had the shoes legit checked so don't ask about that.

how should i clean the white cloth type material on my VI's. The material is located on the tounge the whole way up, to the plastiv part on the tounge. Itlooks dirty and i dont want to ruin it.

Anyone know how to clean a pair of Flint XIII's? Pods, leather, grey part, and blue part? The grey suede part is also a little rough in some parts. Isthere way to get it smoother again?

memotrujillo - take the laces out, use a diluted mixture of barkeeper's friend, about half the friend to water ratio i mentioned before. instead of 3 to 1water, use about 6 to 1, a stiff brush, and take the laces out.

allout46 - easily the stupidest idea period to do with any shoes not made of canvas.

Caronongan - use about a 150 grit sand paper, and basically thatch it up, by that, i mean place it on the suede, and push down, left or right while lifting up.it should bring the texture back up a little bit. the blue part, just use detergent, extremely hot water in a bowl, and a stiff toothbrush.

Some dude stepped on my aquas on the front of the shoes and I tried to take off the dust and dirt with water and with my hand but it got worse. The front lookslike its dusty, not really faded but kind of some dust. I which I knew how to post pics. Im new and a noob. Any help please???

Dude with the Black Cement IVs, my pair have that same cracking as well. all u have to do is use some textile medium paint to cover it up. And the IVs arewearable so you're good. i hope you're not paying $300+ for em tho

Just wondering if it matters how many grams are in a silica pack to put into a shoe box.

Anyone know what the best thing to use for the upper of XI's (concords to be exact) is? Just got a couple dirt spots.

just checked my DS DMP XIs and the soles are starting to yellow. i thought i had it covered being i threw in some silica packets and stored the box next tosome DampRid.

is yellowing inevitable? looks like the only thing one can do it just slow down the process
