I always scrape the paint off of the midsoles with a knife or file. It works 100 times better than using acetone. Acetone doesn't really take off the paint, it just thins it out and leaves a layer of the old paint behind. Sneakerheadinthebay has a video about it on YouTube, watch that and you'll see what I'm talking aboutI'm looking to move away from stripping paint using acetone, anyone got tips on using grit sandpaper? I need to find a better method.
