I'm looking to move away from stripping paint using acetone, anyone got tips on using grit sandpaper? I need to find a better method.

I always scrape the paint off of the midsoles with a knife or file. It works 100 times better than using acetone. Acetone doesn't really take off the paint, it just thins it out and leaves a layer of the old paint behind. Sneakerheadinthebay has a video about it on YouTube, watch that and you'll see what I'm talking about

Whats good to clean the black midsoles of like Bred 13s or WC4's? I use Mint from footlocker and it makes the black paint look ashy.

Is there a way that I can successfully paint the bottom soles of a shoe without it being affected when walking on it? Like how can I be sure that it is protected?

Razor/shaver works best for removing the sock lint. You can use soap and water or spray and wash if the inside is white to clean it.

E6000 glue would work better than guerrilla glue. I recommend that, its pretty cheap too

Any of you guys use a dehumidifier? I use a Eva-Dry EDV-1100. I turn it on 24hr straight per week. Is that too long?

So I had been using "Ice Cream" from Raleigh Restores on Instagram but figured I would try the 40 volume. People were talking about it a lot and it was cheap I will say. But, after this experience I will never use 40 cream again. Here's what happened:
I was very careful as I do not want separation as I've never glued shoes before. It was 75 degrees out yesterday, and I applied a medium amount of cream on there with saran wrap. I had ice in the shoes and checked on the shoe literally every 5-10 minutes for running or separation.
is there any fix for this?
