Dumb question probably... But do you guys think wearing thicker socks makes your shoes wear in funny or stretch them out? Or is it probably fine?

What are you trying to do? The bottle form is for mesh and the powder is for leather, etc. If you use the bottle form for leather, it can actually yellow the leather of the shoe. (personal experience)
wasn't able to get RIT whitener in the bottle and got the powder instead...mixed with detergent and warm water. so far...doesn't seem to be doing anything.

Can't say dude didn't say so about the bottle on leather, but I thought maybe he was wrong lol. I never tried the powder form yet, so I don't know how good results are.Interesting.
Trying it out on my worn pair of the Cardinal 7s on the tongue. Tried it on one shoe. Didn't yellow nor whiten. Might have to order the liquid form instead. There is also a pinky nail size light yellow spot on the concord 11 I just picked up I want to remove hence trying it on the cardinal 7 mesh first.
It did clean up the sewn line tho.
All three would be the most potent/best method, but since seaglow is expensive, most people just use salon care + oxy. If you can afford all three, by all means, do it.I got some of that salon care volume creme. What are some good combo- creme+sea glow? or creme+oxy clean
or all 3?

Don't know how to help you and I would if I could, but I was wondering what did you use to strip the paint? I thought acetone was dangerous for those type of midsoles and can eat into them easily. Did you use acetone or something else?Just recently stripped the paint on a pair of varsity red 6's everything when great except it looks like some paint bled to the soles itself. Anything to slear these back up? I tried acetone... No go.
I used acetone. I'm going to give retrobrite a try. Thanks
I just got these for a steal off eBay but they got a yellow sole. Anything I can do besides repaint em?
Few tutorials. You probably will/might mess up if it's your first time, but after learning how to do it properly, life maintaining shoes will be that much easier.
I have a pair of 2002 raptor 7s that has major sole separation could anybody help or are these pretty much done for

Thanks man! and do you have any other suggestions on glue because that is one is a little expensive although ill probably get it if there isn't any other good choices.

e6000 and barge cement are the two most recommended.
