we own his rights all the way up to the draft hopefully we can trade him before hand but if not i hope he drops to the 2nd or 3rd round

Theres a rumor I read that he's only holding out to somehow get to dallas, if thats true...

its unfair that they only get to hold his rights for a season. they need to make it where the team that drafts you keeps your rights if you decide to pull astunt like this. still its going to be funny seeing mike williams 2.0 fall flat on his face.

Everybody that rushed out and bought a Crabtree jersey

Dudes shouldnt be able to hold out like that though....

what a dummy ....

Can't wait for Week 2.

I know its early, but a W next week would be HUGE.

Hopefully we can get the ground game going. Frank Gore has had his best games against the Seahawks. Our defense needs to apply the same pressure on Hasslebeckas they did Warner.

My friends were saying that to me about yesterday, and I had the same response to them as I have to you. If we have any hope of winning the division and/ormaking the playoffs, next weeks game is a MUST WIN. I dont care if its early. I dont care if we still have 14 games to go after this one. I feel like theseare games we HAVE to win if we are to be taken seriously as contenders.

Yeah its messed up we wont get any thing if he goes back in the draft but think of it this way he'll have been out of football for a year, plus no combine info next year any team that takes him will have to go on this past summers info, plus there will be a bunch of WR's coming out next year, dude is gonna fall and fall hard.

Assuming that he does not sign, let's trade this bum's rights and get something out of it. I vote on a good OL...we have to get some more protectionfor Hill/Gore....

feels good to be 1-0

Cannot wait to be at Candlestick on Sunday!
Crabtree is getting nervous
Posted by Mike Florio on September 14, 2009 2:46 PM ET

Before Sunday's games, Adam Schefter of ESPN reported that the tea leaves point to 49ers Michael Crabtree re-entering the draft in 2010. FOX's Jay Glazer pointed to mixed signals regarding Crabtree's status.

We're now hearing that, after the 49ers went into Arizona and knocked off the defending NFC champs without Crabtree, the tenth overall pick in the draft is getting nervous.

We're told that 49ers players who spoke with Crabtree after the game detected anxiety on his part, and there's now a sense that he might be getting ready to take the offer that the 49ers have left on the table throughout training camp and the preseason.

Glazer suggested yesterday that the 49ers might begin to modify their offer, now that Crabtree is missing regular-season games. Though it remains to be seen whether the team takes this bold (but wise) step, we think that Crabtree will either break or harden his position to the point of a full-season holdout within the next week or so.

49er or not, MC is gonna need a top notch PR firm to help bring his image up from clown status

Just got back from PHX at the game...

A good amount of 49er fans there actually. I hate the cardinals more than anything so it was such a gratifying win especially seeing all of them go

. I got to go on the field during warm ups and talk with Coffee he's a gooddude.

The O-line played terrible and 0.8 YPC against ANYONE is inexcusable but im glad to get a huge road win against the Cards.

@ home against Seattle could get us a leg up on the division

it's def gonna take a while, that's for sure...i just hope it gets resolved soon, whether he's on the 49ers or not.

Let's hope we sweep our division, the seahawks are actually looking somewhat formidable after week 1, hopefully they only looked like that simply becausethey played the rams.
embarassed.gif
we can only hope.

I had a feeling that if the team started winning without Crabtree, he would be nervous and might want to sign. He thinks the niners need him, but they win,he's like "oh %$$*, maybe not ". I can see him taking an offer by week 3

Honestly, I would like to see him play with us... Him and Morgan would be good together... But he better be working out or doing something this whole time hesbeen holding out for...
