I think Kyle’s days are numbered.

I smell rebuild going forward.

Purdy, Kittle, CMC, Warner, Lenoir, Mustapha, Greenlaw, Puni, and Bosa are the only ones worth keeping. Everyone else can take a hike.

Purdy deserves a better coaching staff. I hope he’s forcing those errant throws that turn into picks so they can get rid of Kyle. I do NOT see ay connection whatsoever between coach and QB and this is huge if you want to win a SB.

We aint doing shiit this year
If they don't win next week against Dallas. Wrap it up.

It was embarrassing that they allowed Mahomes run like that. Icing on the cake was him dropping Mustapha at the goal line. Disgusting.

Good start for Pearsall, though. I can see him get more and more comfortable out there.

Kyle has lost the locker room. Kyle has lost Brock because Kyle is a prxxk.

The NFL has the book on Kyle and Kyle isn’t intelligent enough to not only adapt but have situational awareness as well.

I’d pick Purdy over Kyle any day of the week.

York doesn’t have the balls so I don’t expect him to do what is necessary. I hope he proves me wrong

I’m done with Shanahan

I believe that this season is still salvageable, but I wouldn’t blame others who don’t.
The irony here is that the only thing that gives me hope is that the chiefs were trash for a stretch last year. They got Andy and we got the “offensive guru” Shanny.

Been done with Kyle. Man got more than enough offensive weapons and hasn’t pulled off 1 Super Bowl.

Losing Aiyuk for the season sucks, but it wasn’t like he was doing anything this year anyways. Dropping so many balls. Commentators keep saying slow start.. it’s week 8 now lol, half the season damn near.

I think Pearsall can really help us once he starts getting more burn. We really need Greenlaw and CMC, those are impact players. We can still get hot, just gotta get healthy. Shanahan needs to figure it out, just hasn’t executed well at all this season.

Just had a damn novel typed out, but decided against it

I'll just say this, I ain't down on this team. We were missing (outside of Kittle) our other top 4 skill position guys. Yeah yeah Mahomes was too but we dont have that hall of famer to bail us out

Also, Chiefs offensive line really must lock in against us huh? Never seem to make a mistake... /s

Cowboy's week, we move on

edit-- completely aware of the Brock struggles (to say the least) soft tackling, poor special teams. But deleted that from said "novel" lol

I’m with you fam. niners played some ugly, ugly ball but there’s a reason why the chiefs are the class of the NFL and everyone is trying to catch up. Today was just a measuring stick game, and it showed us just how far this squad is from being an actual challenge to KC. Thankfully the super bowl wasnt going to be won or lost today. The NFC west is still up for grabs. Beat Dallas next week, go into the bye at .500 and correct mistakes down the backhalf of the season.

Losing BA sucks but every team has massive injuries to key players. Time for Jennings, Cowing and Pearsall to step up. Same exact thing happened to the niners two years ago, lost to KC in week 7, went to 3-4 and then made it to the NFCCG in philly. Whole lotta football left.

Perhaps I’m foolishly optimistic but I still got faith in any squad that has purdy, kittle, deebo, and hopefully CMC

Call me a pessimist, fake fan, whatever…after the Super Bowl loss , seeing the SAME mistakes against contenders over and over again from 2019-2024, I knew this season and team in general is done and I don’t even bother stressing anymore.

With the coaching and luck this team has, they’ll be in purgatory until the next “generation” change. Good enough to get to the playoffs by beating division rivals and random mediocre teams, not good enough to win championships.

Yet another loss against the weak xxx Chiefs who 50-year old Tom Brady and 100-year old Bruce Arians beat in the Super Bowl in ONE GOTDAM TRY and Shanahan has had 5 attempts and can't beat them once.

Below is yet another humbling reminder that we have idiots for coaches, Shanahan being the biggest of them all.

Y'all can be as optimistic as you want but I've watched more than enough football in my lifetime to know that this season is over.

Shanahan getting fired at some point this season or next is a formality at this point.

I can't wait until that narcissist of a coach hits the unemployment line and I don't give a damn what team he coaches for next because he ain't ever gonna win the big one. Dude is a bonafide choker if i ever seen one, 10x worse than the Andy Reid that was with Philadelphia. Those Eagles never had anything close to the amount of talent these 49ers have had the last 5 years.

Thank you Shanahan the OC for bringing this team back to relevance. We are happy and grateful for your 8 years. But frankly, Kyle's regular season record over that span is barely above .500 and he's an even bigger choker in the Super Bowl where it matters most. More importantly, Kyle has NOT shown he can change for the better and have the ability and brains to adapt to how opponents have adapted to him. This speaks volumes. Dude is a stubborn fool.

49ers fans, the Shanahan era has run its course and it's time to move on. There are and will be better, smarter, and more poised and well respected coaches out there than Kyle freaking Shanahan who hasn't proven to be able to win the most important games after all these years. Dude is the gotdamm Mike D'Antoni of football.

And look where D'Antoni and his gimmick offensive system are at now - nowhere to be found with zero championships to boot.
