I actually like the big "FORTY NINERS" more than the logo. It reminds me of seeing all the old NFL Films videos.

Season ticket holders, you guys know if we can view our tickets more than 3 days in advance of the game? Don't we need the code on the ticket to post tickets on stubhub? Or do we have to sell through NFL Exchange this year? I'm confused as hell.

No we can't and one of my clients is very upset, rightfully so. His dad is a season ticket holder also but he's almost 70 years old and isn't tech savvy. I'm not tech illiterate but I prefer the hard copies as well.

Man when I went to Arizona last year for the game there was more niners gear in stores than cardinals. They had a discount in those satin starters too. I bought the big niners and my friend got the super bowl patches jacket

Unless they brought back the originals, those aren't the same ones. I've seen those new retro version and they have the new "SF" logo on the chest, a helmet on the sleeve and some other differences. The ones posted above are the real deal OG version. Garage sales, thrift stores, Craigslist or eBay are the best place to pick them up if you're looking for one.

I have the gold Starter one with the old 49ers typeface on the back, I have no idea how that was considered an XL

Still fits nicely, but the length is a bit short

It definitely is a shame. That typeface is CLASSIC. Somethings should never be changed like and that was one of them.

I love it so much I got that **** tatted on me.

I still don't know which one to get the lettered seems tacky plus the newer model that looks fake that 2 chains wore and donte whitner says FORTY NINERS

The one with the letters is older I think. TBH I have no memories of players wearing the one with the logo

Yep, the chalk line jacket(FORTY NINERS) is older. Nt23 is right, players never wore the starter jacket on the sideline. They had switched to parkas and windbreakers in the 90s.

ebay my friend..

had my grandfathers gold jacket stolen I tried to replace it via ebay without telling and it was the lettered forty niners and not the 49ers on the back..
