Only reason he wouldn't get resigned is if he literally pulled an Aldon Smith and went off the rails, breaking the law in every way possible off the field.

I don’t know why that guy came in here tryin to stir something up about the long term deal. If Kyle was so interested in acquiring Kirk Cousins he wouldn’t have dealt a 2nd round pick at the deadline for Jimmy. And if Jimmy struggled then maybe they would keep all options in the offseason available, but at this point it’s a done deal 49ers have their Franchise QB and by all accounts he wants to be here.Why is this even a debate?
