Idc that he's the greatest ever he put himself above all else with that interview.
I knew Joe was bitter when he didn't show up for the farewell game as well as that statement he said about Kap needing to become more of a pocket passer a few weeks ago right in the middle of the playoffs.

Q: What was your relationship like with Steve Young?
A: "You ever had anybody try to take your job? (Laughs, applause ensues). It's a team game but it all starts with individual efforts. So my job with Steve was basically to make sure he stayed behind me. The game is not the same when you stand on the sideline with your uniform on. After you experience that, you don't want to be anywhere else. We had a working relationship. But it was one of those things where I didn't care if it was Steve Young, Steve Bono, Steve DeBerg -- I had a whole bunch of Steves -- it didn't matter who it was for me. It was my job that I felt I had to make sure they stayed over there watching me as long as possible. But it's a competitive relationship. ... I didn't feel bad for him."
Yeah Red I love Jordan Matthews reminds me so much of jordy Nelson hopefully he runs that deep post just like Jordy.
I'm surprised with the way Andre Williams ran this year he's not being talked about as the 1st back of the board.
My homie loves Bruce Ellington he went to SC he's a clone of the player they pumped out last year in Ace sanders who has found a role with the jaguars now.
I think Jalen Saunders out of OU is a late round gem limited cuz of his size but can get open in a phone booth
Kaepernick: Next contract must strike a balance
Matt Maiocco

Quarterback Colin Kaepernick wants to strike a balance with his next contract of being fairly compensated while also allowing the 49ers enough flexibility to assemble a strong roster around him.
At the conclusion of his third season, Kaepernick and the 49ers are allowed for the first time this offseason to begin working on a contract extension. Kaepernick enters the final year of his original four-year contract scheduled to make $1.073 million in salary and bonuses.
“I think it’s a balance,” Kaepernick said Thursday morning during an appearance on San Francisco radio station KNBR while attending the week of activities leading up to Super Bowl XLVIII. “You want to be paid fairly for what you feel like you’re doing in comparison to your peers. But at the same time, you have to realize that if we want to get Anquan Boldin back, if we want Donte Whitner to come back, we’re going to have to make moves to get them back and there has to be room for everyone.
“And that’s something that I’m going to let my agent and the organization try to figure out. But, hopefully, it’s a (situation) where we can assemble the best team that we need.”
Kaepernick said his offseason will focus on getting better, not his contract situation. He is scheduled to begin his offseason workout program on Monday in Miami, he said. Kaepernick said he will work out at a training facility Frank Gore and Boldin recommended.
“To me, I’m trying to focus on what I need to do to get ready for next season and improve myself so I can help improve this offense and ultimately help win the Super Bowl,” Kaepernick said.
Kaepernick said he will work on his all-around game – not just his skills as a pocket passer.
“I think pocket passing is something is something that’s overlooked as far as what I do,” Kaepernick said. “I think people see me running around and they see me throwing on the run. They see me running down field and that’s just what he does.
“When you step up in the pocket and make a normal throw, it gets overlooked because you’re not running around. To me, it’s something, yes, you want to get better at that. I want to get better at throwing on the run, going through progressions quicker, I want to get better at everything. But I don’t think that (pocket passing) specifically is being addressed.”

Is there some kind of context to this or did he randomly throw that up there? This guy needs to go. Now. Trade his *** to the Raiders as a punishment.
I'd rather we let him go too. Dude is useless IMO. Every punt he catches makes me hold my breath. Every time I see him line up in the backfield, I assume that it will be a wasted down if he touches the ball. This guy needs to go. Now. Trade his *** to the Raiders as a punishment.
