Aside from getting an immediate second shot at being a head coach again. And I get that those jobs are hard to get given it’s only 32 teams.

I just don’t see him being a good fit for the Jaguars. A defensive minded coach isn’t what they necessarily need when they really need someone capable of bringing out the best in Trevor Lawrence if that’s doable.

I’m saying it selfishly. But the best scenario for Saleh would be to take the 49ers dc job. Make the defense great again and have a shot at more appealing head coaching openings in a year or two. But if he could land another head coaching job right away, I get it as well.
