:::[Official] San Francisco 49ers 2010-2011 Regular Season Thread-Sing Fired:::

Not a niners fan but I was stunned when I saw Alex starting this Sunday. I think it's such a big mistake, there's talent on the team and still a shot at the playoffs. Troy should definitely start

Hopefully CAR gets the #1 pick so the chances of trading the pick are higher compared to another team that desperately needs a qb.
Why would Car trade the pick? they need a QB

The best scenario I can see would be for the Bengals to get the #2 spot I bet the cheap *** owner would gladly trade down instead of pay #2 money to a draft pick

ROUND ONE now
1. Carolina (1-11) Drafted Clausen in round 2 for four yrs 2. Detroit (2-10) Stafford
3. Cincinnati (2-10) Palmer stills seems like their guy
4. Buffalo (2-10) Fitzpatrick
5. Arizona (3-9) Draft a QB
6. Denver (3-9) Orton

Need to trade with Buf, Cincy or Detroit. I dont think Detroit wants to spend big $ on another top 3 guy. Move down 5 for an extra pick perhaps

Just thinking that bc they just used a 2nd rd pick on Clausen and probably have bigger needs than drafting another QB.  The best scenario i see is if DET loses out the rest of their games and they somehow get the #1 pick.

alex smith plays well and then he makes people believe he still has it in him to turn his career around. then come next season the franchise has hopes on him again only fail mid season.
