Yesterday's URL event in Chicago. I'll just do the main events. Remember, they were all 1 rounders.

1. Big Kannon vs Cortez - Cortez started off and snapped! Really put together a nice round. Big Kannon had some crack as well. Can't exactly remember who won but it was a good battle.

2. DNA vs Midwest Miles - This guy DNA SNAPPED! That freestyling ability played a huge part in this. Not sure how this will translate on camera so I'll explain what happened now. The venue had Halloween decorations all over the place. Suspended above us was a weird looking pumpkin thing on one side and a killer clown on the other. While pointing in the air at each item, DNA said something on the lines of "A pump can (pumpkin) put this clown in the air." Very nice line. Miles was nice too and had a few good bars. He kinda choked in the end but it was cool. I'll give the battle to DNA but I don't wanna hear any Miles bashing cuz he did his thing this battle. 

3. Danja Zone vs Mickey Factz - Mickey Factz started the round. Dude hasn't battled in 7 years and it seems like he saved all 7 years worth of material for this battle. Dude came out straight WIGGING on Zone. He snapped on him something crazy and it was almost looking like a clear victory. Then Zone started battling. Game over SMH. This guy Zone shut the building down. Dude was out of this world. I'm front row and I almost fell over the railing cuz I was going BANANAS over some of the stuff dude was saying. It was NUTS! Zone clearly took this battle but that's not saying Mickey was trash cuz he wasn't by a long shot.

4. Young Kannon vs Chilla Jones - Young Kannon started and does what Young Kannon does and that's spit ether. He had some good schemes and bars and overall a solid performance. Chilla Jones heard the fans and eliminated a lot of that pausing crap and brought way more aggression. This would've easily been battle of the night if Danja wasn't in such a Zone (pun intended) in the battle before. But this battle was NICE! Hard to say who won. I'm leaning towards Chilla just cause I know I missed a lot of his bars. But that's not to take anything away from Kannon cause he was BOMBING and he chewed out Cortez lol.

5. JC vs Clips - Some controversy happened right before this battle with some random people so some people were escorted out and the vibe in the building was a lil' low going into this. Just wanted to mention that. However, good battle as well. JC came out spitting and he had a pretty good round. No complaints. Clips went and his round was really solid. I'm gonna give this one to Clips.

Overall, this whole event was solid. Great timing between battles and everything. Was handled way better than Smack events. Was in line for less than an hour. Only problem was the mics. One mic went out in the first battle of the night so the battlers had to keep switching this one mic and that mic was acting up half the night SMH. Why don't these idiots bring 6 different mics to the events just in case anything goes wrong?

this is the 2013 version of JC vs Chilla . both of these dudes WENT OFF . this battle is unequivocally better than any battle URL has released from NOME3 and SM3 so far

hope both of these guys keep doing their thing and eventually blow up . such a great battle
