Never had a dog with irritable bowels but I feed all three of mine Orijen Six fish. The oldest one used to have looser stool before I made the switch.

we've tried it all.. worst thing for us is being in the Bahamas.. we're kinda limited on what we can get (unless we special order it.. and even then the places here have to have a distributor who carries it)

since about Christmas, we've been feeding him mainly cooked chicken with rice (with the probiotics).. since he had a really bad period end of november

now we have some of the Z/D wet and dry food that we've being mixing with rice.. and since we were just over in the states we picked up some honest kitchen for him to try out (we're weeding him off the rice and Z/D slowly now and he seems to be doing well)

we've gone through every make of taste of the wild, natural balance, nutro natural choice, diamonds natural, blue buffalo and a couple other ones.. had wellness core briefly, but the place we bought it from doesn't carry it consistently

our vet suggested this.. didn't turn out well.. so we literally on tried it out for 2 days or so

Hear GSD are fiercely loyal and highly intelligent. Neighbor has one (Shelby).

Want a GSD or Siberian Husky in the foreseeable future.

His name is tank. Yes they're very loyal and intelligent. He's just fine with other dogs and strangers too. At home he's like a giant cat but outdoors he's extremely active.

My son is 3 and they're best friends for sure. He know to watch over him over me at the park and stuff. If anyone gets near him he'll immediately step in between them until he sees their intentions.


Overall, I'd say he's pretty perfect. For my life style he's just the ideal fit, something to think about when choosing a breed




Oh, and the **** love him too during the shirtless runs

I miss my husky so much going on 4 years with out him man. Still remember when I was 4 years old and picking him out over the others. Such a awesome dog

Honest kitchen has been working well so far.. Hopefully it stays that way.. We're keeping our fingers crossed, since he's still transitioning onto it

But raw food is our next option if this doesn't work out

How is the the temperament? How is the dog in general? Im really interested in buying a doberman.

He's very friendly towards people. He's not fixed so he's defensive towards dogs he doesn't know. It's best to get them to play with other dogs at a early age. He's very alert

Lost my previous dog to cancer a few years ago after 12 years. After about two weeks I couldn't stand the empty feeling around the house so I got a new pup. At first I felt guilty, as if I was trying to replace him. After a while you just realize that getting a new dog doesn't mean you're replacing the old one, since every dog is unique and irreplaceable. It just means you're starting a new friendship with a new pup. Eventually, the distraction of a new little guy and the love and silliness they provide helped me get over my loss and my new journey started with a new best friend.

So my advice to people who lose dogs based on my experience is, get a new dog, start a new friendship and you will feel better.

Damn your boxer and mine could be family they sleep and relax exactly the same. Always curling up in my spot on the couch as soon as I get up Laying on my side of the bed at night when I get home from work

hahahaha yea shes female. my friends thought it was funny that we dressed up the dog as the princess and our daughter as a little forest dwelling creature. i know this isnt a post your kid thread but...

i really got my work cut out for me next halloween cause my wife is due in a month with our second daughter so i gotta figure out a good team/theme costume for my 3 girls.
