Whewwwww thank God the First Lady is focused on the real priorities right now. While Michelle Obama wasted her time in the White House focusing on nonsense like children's nutrition, I'm glad Melania is tackling important stuff

There was only one person willing to bring us HGTV to C-SPAN. Nobody else could do it.

Someone I know at work tested positive. The people that were in contact with him were quarantined only after a positive test result. I have some friends that were in contact with the people in quarantine, but nothing will be done unless the people in quarantine test positive.

These regulations aren't smart.

For us, we're supposed to self-isolate for 14 days if we have a headache or fatigue. Or nausea or diarrhea. Which is probably 99% of people. Which discourages self-reporting of symptoms.

Contact tracing is similar to your set-up. Only direct contacts of someone with a positive test are tested. Which is inadequate. Also, expecting somebody to self-report symptoms, even mild ones, and then have to self-isolate until they get a test result back, also discourages self-reporting of symptoms, especially when it can take days or even more than a week to get results back.

The good news is that, if your workplace has proper guidelines (mask everywhere, alternate shifts, etc.), then the likelihood you'd get sick from someone who is positive is low.

Yeah, the contact tracing where they only consider direct contact with people that tested positive is kind of ridiculous. The almighty dollar is the most important thing at the end of the day. It seems to me like they do this on purpose because they're prioritizing the bottom line right now over people's health.
