STOP IT

Before he was done, Dimon took another swipe at Trump.

"And by the way this wealthy New Yorker actually earned his money," Dimon added. "It wasn't a gift from Daddy."

Cuomo was so far ahead in the polls, I knew that race was lost. It’s sad that Williams and Teachout couldn’t break through.

Comrade Julia Salazar did win her State Senate nomination though and the s big because every leftist Brooklyn based podcast promoted her.

Overall, this has been a great spring and summer for the Justice Democrats-DSA-Our Revolution bloc. We got some amazing candidates for governorships and Congress. We got a number of people for State legislative and municipal offices as well.

We have young people, people of color, women, socialists all grabbing nominations and most of them, of not all of them, will win their general elections and in January of 2019, the Federal Government and many States will have, among its leaders, folks who use the term “comrade” mostly unitonically and people who use the term late capitalism in every day speech.

This just the beginning and we’ll be back in 2020 and beyond. It looks like electioneering with overcome both capitalism and the specter of violent revolution. Socialism will win and now we can be more and more confident it will win at the ballot box.

Theyre already bashing Salazar bc she came from a privileged wealthy family. As if being the latter discredits being a democratic socialist and seeing issues that plague the lower/working class

Diamond and Bloomberg's problem is that they don't understand the composition of the Democratic coalition.

They think that if they can win over enough white people in the Midwest to vote for them, they got a shot.

The Democratic Primary exposes all weakness a candidate has. Sure you might have some "free enterprise can empower entrepreneurs and help workers" talk than could finesse some middle-class folk, but when it comes to policy, the Democratic Primary is also about how can you help poor people. On that issue, these two are clueless

What are these two billionaires gonna say when someone in rural Alabama ask them how will they running water in their homes and sewage out of their backyard, what are they gonna say when someone in Flint ask them how are gonna them get them clean water, what are they gonna say when a single mother that works two jobs and a sick kid ask them how are they gonna give her some sort of economic security? What, tell them that with enough financial deregulation, and modest increases in funding to the social safety will deliver them the results they need?

Can't wait to see these clowns going to black barbershops in SC and trying to convince folk that they are not the clueless, weak sauce centrist that we can clearly see that they are.

If I may channel my inner Terrence Thornton for a second, you can clean a centrist up for a campaign ad, but the neoliberal stench is still on them. And folk don't like that fragrance anymore.

IDC got trounced in the NY senate gotdamn!!!

Yeah, it's Cuomo's nightmare he's either going to have pass progressive legislation for NY state or have everyone know he's the reason it didn't pass.

**** he won't even be able to pull his favorite con and say "we're going to study the issue to see if it works for NY" because by the time they reach him all these laws are just going to need his signature.

If I may...

These people exploring the possibilities of running for public office remind me of Philippine politicians. We have pawn shop owners, real estate moguls, actors&actresses, athletes and a bunch of random people hold key positions, and it just ****** up the country ever since.

Old news but Pacquiao feeling the effects of his Ls. He's spewing all kinds of non-sense and it's just embarrassing.

Separation of church and state anyone?

These business people feel a sense of entitlement because they have all kinds of funding is utterly disgusting. They suddenly feel they're the saving grace this country needs. It's an f-up waiting to happen. :smh:

Got a tasty batch of nothingness to start your weekend off right

Unclear what this means exactly. Either Manafort knows the pardon is coming from Trump (I doubt Mueller is that dumb) or Manafort has something of value to give Mueller (which is what Abramson has been saying). The sentencing should give some clues, right?
